Abstract

An outdoor lighting apparatus (2) suitable for use as a street lantern including a housing (4), at least one lighting means (6) and at least one power supply means (12) connected to the same, wherein said housing (4) includes at least one Wireless Access Point (10) and the power supply means (12) provides power to both the lighting means (6) and the Wireless Access Point (10).
