Abstract

A fascinator for wearing on the head which has a taxidermy ornament attached for design. The taxidermy mainly consists of British birds, reptile and other small animals. In another embodiment, the fascinator can also be decorated with fake fruit.

Description

DESCRIPTION
HeadCase: Eccentric fascinators This invention consists of two already existing public inventions, however this invention (work of art) combines two existing inventions that I collaborate to form a new concept which has never been seen or worn as a fashion accessory before.
The existing inventions are: a). Taxidermy and b). Fascinators This invention is combining the above two inventions arranging them TOGETHER. This is a new concept, never been seen or worn before. A taxidermy piece, sitting on a handcrafted fascinator case as a fashion accessoty. This type of headwear is worn at horse racing events, wedding, magazine and media fashion photography.
The Materials used all vary depending on design. Different types of taxidermy (mainly British birds and reptiles: frogs) are lovingly and mounted on head pieces of all shapes and sizes, textures and concepts, themed and sitting pretty at a particular angle.
Concepts: Variable British birds sitting on a handmade fascinator base on variable themes and materials are used cleverly. Some of the designs incorporate taxidermy, some fake fruit and other interesting artistic concepts.
Figure 1: Shows a real life British magpie (taxidermy) displayed on a fascinator base. This is one of many designs showcasing the taxidermy work as a fashion design.
