Abstract

A fuel transfer device, transport trolley therefor, and control system and method for relay drive of same. The fuel transfer device comprises a transport trolley, and drive gear assemblies disposed respectively at a fuel facility side (KX side) and at a reactor facility side (RX side) for driving the transport trolley; an overrunning clutch is disposed between a bevel gear and a drive gear of the drive gear assemblies respectively arranged at the KX side and the RX side; the bevel gear is connected to the power input shaft of the overrunning clutch; the drive gear is connected to the output shaft of the overrunning clutch; an absolute-position encoder is provided on the transport trolley; an incremental encoder for controlling the speed of the transport trolley is disposed at each of the KX and the RX drive motor sides respectively of the transport trolley; and the drive gears at the KX side and the RX side respectively are each provided with an underwater limit switch for determining a relay-drive handover position, thus realizing bidirectional relay drive of the transport trolley. The control system and method for relay drive of the transport trolley avoid during transfer, by means of the joint control by PLC controllers at the fuel facility side and the reactor facility side, possible conflicts in the initial stage of the rack and pinion meshing, as well as possible unsteady trolley operation caused by incomplete synchronization between two drive gears simultaneously driving the transport trolley.
