Description
HAPPY MIRROR' S.DESCRIPTION.
REFLECTIVE MUSICAL/SOUND PRODUCING TOY: The present invention relates generally to amusement devices and more specifically to a three part/piece reflective sound/music producing toy.
Recently, a three part perspex mirrored, sound/music toy has been proposed wherein while the three reflective distorted perspex mirrors give way to distort the image placed in-front of them each perspex mirror showing a different distorted yet funny image to the child. All the while the sound producing device which is to be found in the polypropylene clown shaped head at the top of the toy.(See image 11) The music will come directly from this sound producing device in such the music that is to be played/heard is that of the famous circus theme song: "Entry of the Gladiators" written by "Julius Fucik".(1872/1916).This is complete public domain therefore no public licence will be needed to the use age/playing of said music.
In such a way the user may enjoy not only three fun images freely back/forth(see image 16/18). but also dance and sing to the happy well know music of the circus. With the fun decorative design/styling of the familiar happy clowns face and hat at the centre of the three perspex distorted mirror; s.(see imagell).
The base can/is to be made in polypropylene plastic which has been found to be safer to user/children but the complete base can also be found to be made/formed in PVC plastic(see image 16/17/18). The proposed base of said three part/piece(see image 16/17/18)> is to be in the length/height of two feet and no more than three feet in height. The width of said proposed base with three individual yet adjoining parts are all set in this two foot/three foot length and are joined together with the use of four Flag hinges, flag hinges can also swivel a full 360 degrees around the pin. Flag hinges are manufactured as a right hand and a left hand configuration. hinges two on the left side base (see image2)and two on the right side (see imagelo)adjoining base enabling the base with the three distorted perspex mirrors' to be able to close/fold over entirely into the middle(see image 16) or as has been proposed can also fold just one side either the left sided base shown here in image 2, you can see the left side base mirror with the distorted perspex mirrors are inset and bend as to give the user/owner their image as reflected back in a distorted fun way.
In image 3 you can see the end of the base which shows fingers which are moulded using polypropylene plastic to give the appearance of the base having three clown shaped fingers.
In image 7 you can see the right hand side of the proposed project/invention with the base of polypropylene plastic has been moulded to give the appearance of clowns fingers at the side. See image 10.
The proposed product when both the left side of the base with the perspex distorted mirrorTs which are inserted in the centre of each section of the base leading to three sections which are all attached by four flag hinges two on either side. See image 12. Left side one is at the top of the base and one is at the bottom of the base which adjoins the left side onto the centre base. See image 3 /4. The right side also has a flag hinge at the top of the base which joins the right side of the base onto the centre and a flag hinge at the bottom of the right side of the base which holds the right side firmly attached to the centre. See image 14. This is proposed that will allow movement of both the left side and right side of the base with inset distorted perspex mirror!s to be able to be bent/turned moveable(see image 3/9/5/7) in the motion of closing over one side, left and one side right or both sides thus closing and covering up the perspex distorted mirrors bringing the left side and the right side of the base to join completely in the centre(see image 16); showing the two sets of polypropylene moulded plastic shaped like clowns fingers to come together as one thus forming the shape of two sets of fingers joining as one set. A hand.
However when the mirror's are folded,(see image 16) the left side/right side into the centre of the main mirror the value of this conventional toy is then only ornamental showing the folded toy with the clowns face at the top.(see image 11/12). However the toy still may be able to play the recorded music from sound producing device if the ON/OFF switch remains in the ON position. As shown in image 12 the base frame to comprises a frame image 14,image 11 and an optical view. In the back base frame comprises of a concave portion serving as a battery receptacle, and batteries are set in the concave portion. Image four is operated by/powered by the batteries. The base frame denotes a lid for covering the battery receptacle concave portion within the base frame.
Otherwise it is presented and build in such a way that it may be switched off saving batteries and being a fold able toy/product it can be stored safety and easily in any roomlcupboard. Additionally the clowns face and bowl shaped hat(see images 11/12/13/14). are always visible to the child this can be seen from the exterior even when folded and switched off and the mirrorTs neither the music is on display or switched on.
The present invention has been accomplished in view to provide a multi purpose toy/device which is sound producing i.e.: fun, happy, playful music that most/all children will know/recognise. And also serve as a toy comprising base frame which has three funny mirrorTs(see images 12/13/18) for the consumer/child to view his/herself in/as funny shapes allowing to enjoy the differences of his/her reflection and to help with the child's unlimited curiosity as to why each perspex distorted mirror, which is created using curved mirror's often using convex and concave sections to achieve the distorted effect. (See iges file), which is fitted into the clown shaped base is so different and help with their learning and understanding, growing with their joyous puzzlement.
Also with the added advantage of a familiar, happy clown which is centred at the centre mirror on the polypropylene plastic base in colourful displays.(See images 12/13/14/18).
The distorted images in each perspex mirror's are achieved via bending each perspex mirror differently giving three distinct different images to the consumer. This act of distorting mirror's or curved mirror's is often completed by using convex and concave sections to achieve this desired distorted effect which is to be used/found in all three perspex mirror's in the base frame. When this is closed no images will be seen as the transmitting perspex glass will be closed over/folded.
You can have one or both mirror's out, with one folded in the base toy/mirror's will still operate. If the left mirror is folded into the centre mirror then the right mirror will still be producing a distorted image(see image6). If the right mirror alone is folded then the left mirror will show a distorted image(see image 2).
Distorted mirror's are curved mirror's often using convex and concave sections to achieve the distorted effect which is what has been achieved with all three mirror's set into the base frame. If both are folded into the centre mirror then no distorted images will be able to be viewed it will be the perspex base on show with the centred clowns face and hat(see imagel6). Though if ON/OFF/switch is on then the music will continue to be transmitted until it is switched off or the power of the batteries should cease.
The base frame is set/mounted onto two polypropylene plastic shaped/moulded into shapes of two large oversized clowns shoes.(See images 13/14/3/7) They are set in the/ under the left/right sides of the polypropylene base frame acting as/for standing balancing the base frame whilst also giving it added height and with the added visual effect of it looking like clowns shoes giving the overall base frame/product the visual image of a clowns, face, hat and fingers at either side.(See image 11/12/13/14). The left side/right side/As shown in image 10/4) you can see clearly the two moulded polypropylene shaped clown like feet under the left/right side base frame at opposite ends to each other. One is formed turned to the right while the other is formed turned to the left. They are stationary are are not moveable. They are simply to add visual effect to the overall product/invention and act as a balancing stand for when the base frame is either in full open mode i.e.: all three parts of said base frame are in fact fully opened and all three perspex distorted mirror's are open and on display see image 13/14/16/17/18.Also when said base frame is fully closed when the left said of said base frame and the right side of said base frame is closed in completely into the centre base frame the mouldedlshaped like clowns feet remain stationary. See image 16.
The operation of the mirrored musical toy of the present invention is now described In the clown shaped base frame made up of a choice of "Polypropylene" plastic thermoplastic, fairly rigid does not require a plasticizer such as phosphates to increase its flexibility, non-toxic and resistant to corrosion. Additionally polypropylene has a high temperature resistance and is resistant to stress and cracking. PVC plastic may also be usecllapply.
Safety hinges or flag hinges/parliament(UK)hinges flag hinges can be taken apart with a fixed pin on one leaf. Flag hinges can also swivel a full 360 degrees around the pin. Flag hinges are manufactured as a right hand and a left hand configuration.
Acrylic (Perspex)Acrylic mirror's. Distorted using curved mirrorTs often using convex and concave sections to achieve the distorted effect.
The famous circus theme song loop; Arrangement from "The entry of the gladiators".Written by" Julius Fucik".
(1872/1916).
A sound producing device to be placed in the base frame sound for mat way, mp3.Activated by the ON/OFF switch which is found in the base frame and powered by four AA batteries which are also found in the base frame. The speaker for the sound module which has the song/music build in attached to the internal speaker which is to be placed into the clowns hat/flower.
The overall base shape is rectangle with three smaller divided rectangu]ar parts all of equal size/length each with their base is fitted a distorted, perspex mirror which is bent using the concave and convex sections to achieve the overall required distorted effect. Giving the user/public three separate unique images which are both playful and amusing and exciting to their curiosity.. .The product/invention is pushed towards a clown/circus design with a clowns head/face at top/centre of base with clowns fingers at side and large clown like shoes at the bottom of said base one on the left of said base and one on the right of said base.
