Abstract
A solar powered fragrance candle comprises a cap 1, base 3, top cover 2, fragrance container 4, LED 8 and solar panel 5. The solar panel 5 charges a battery and the charge is stored for later use. The fragrance releasing solar candle may be used for decoration or relaxation in domestic and public environments.
Description
Aromatic Solar Candle
Description
Aromatic Solar CanWe
Background of the Invention
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a solar candle, and more particularly to a fragrance rdeasing solar camile that may achieve aesthetic appearance and releasing fragrance. Fragrancing candles are popular amongst the public while the lighted candle flame is attractive and visually pleasing to the observer. Despite the attraction of these candles, the most obvious hazard of using them is the risk of injury or death from fire. Over the years. a safety hazard of thc ordinary candles was the reason of many non-flame candle inventions. Most of those inventions are battery operated candles or solar non-scented candles. In addition, the air freshener's products such as oil, fans and sprays have attempted to address this market.
However, the air freshening products do not have the candle flame look and the electronic candles do not use natural energy source where natural energy source is long lasting. sale and sustainable. Therefore, (he present invention, aromatic solar candle, can solve (he above mentioned problems by releasing fragrance with a beautiful candle flame look and using the natural energy of sun. In addition, a fragrance container of the aromatic solar candle is replaced and refilled easily; this allows consumers to choose a fragrance in accordance with their tastes, personalities and styles. The aromatic solar candles with variety of fragrances is used in home, kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, hotels, lobbies, bars, restaurants or any other places as needed. The refilled fragrance container is sold with the matching candle or individually.
2. Description of the Prior Arts
This invention relates to a solar powered decorative light having a solar pand located on the base surface of the candle which charges the device autoniaticaly.
Solar powered decorative lights are known in the art. See e.g. U.S. Pat. Nos. 7360918 and 7661838. For example, US. Pat. No 7360918 describes an improved high-efficiency solar-charging electric window candle. The device particularly useful for use upon a window still which includes a base, solar cells, collar, candle body and light-bulb housing. A rechargeable battery is mounted in the base, and a huth assenilly comprising a white LED mounted at the top of candle body. However, such simu'ated flame devices are not able to represent the scented candles. Fragraneing candles are more popular among the public due to the attractive candle flame and their pleasant fragrance.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention generally relates to devices that simulate the appearance of the candle flame while providing an enjoyable fragrance. The design has characteristic of candles.
However, there are not any safety matters with flammability of the device. The invention comprises the solar candle and a fragrance releasing cylinder. They operate accordingly by the solar energy and are capable Louse each of them separate y. The battery is being charged by solar panels during day light and is used in its proper process of lighting.
Advantages The combination of two devices in one is cost effective and convenient. For example. it makes more space on where it is essential to deliver a very good customer services such as hotels and restaurant tables. Also, a fragrance releasing solar candle is safe especially for children when is used for a decoration, a relaxation or a celebration in home environments.
Longer life and less wastc are other important advantagcs of the device in order to have economical and environmental friendly
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

6. switch: Turn on and off switch 7. Stick 8. Lamp: LED, powered by solar batteries, represented as flame
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
The sample embodiment of the candle (cap) is made of either wax to present a look of wax candles or a glass, plastic, paper, or any other materials in any colour or thickness to represent light shades (Fig 2-1). The shape of the cap is in any desire geometric shape e.g., spherical, cylindrical. Conical, or any other shapes utilizable as a light cap. It is attached over the top of the top cover (Fig 2-2). The top cover also contains the on-off switch (Fig 2-6) and a lamp (Fig 2-8). The lamp could be either a simple LED or a flicker that is hard to tell apart from a real candle flame e.g., a piece of thin material shaped and tinted suitably to look like a flame or lamp shield; LED light pass through the lamp shield to resemble as a candle. A switch (Fig 2-6) operatively connected to the lamp and turns off when the device is made to rest. In operation, as the power switch (Fig 2-6) is turned on so the battery and the circuit board contact with each other and as a result the LED resembles a flame. The candle has its solar panel sets on the solar panel main body (Fig 2-5). Wires connect the solar panel sets to LED through circuit board. The top cover is mounted on the solar panel main body (Fig 1.
Fig 2-5). Depending on the required power and desirable design two or more solar panel set is used (Fig I shown three panels). The electrical energy generated by solar panel sets is routed to battery to be stored for future use. The entire above are placed on the solar panel main body (Fig 2-5). The solar panel main body is mounted on the back cover (Fig 2-3).The refill cylinder (Fig 2-4) has a hollow to keep a stick (Fig 2-7). It will be refilled and replace by variety of fragrances in accordance with customers tastes such as fragrance oil or liquid.
The cyhnder is placed on the top of the light and when is filled with fragrance oil it will he heated by the LED in the top cover. The piece of metal under the cylinder gets the heat and makes the cylinder warm enough to evaporate the oil. The oil evaporates as steam in result of the heat underneath and letting aroma of die oi fills the room. The voltage consumption is low and it conies from the sanie batteries which have been allocated for the LED lamp. The cylinder needs to be filed when is empty in order to have maximum desire fragrance but it does not create any problem if it is left empty in case of using the lamp on its own. The cylinder will not overheat as the distance is considered between the lamp and the cylinder. In addition, the solar candle may use a programmable fragrance device instead of the refill cyhnder. The programmable fragrance device is a solar air freshener which may he programmed to spray at regular intervals.
