Abstract

The water heater comprises a tank having heating elements (2, figure 1), an inlet and outlet pipe (3,4, figure 1), a control mechanism (5, figure 1) and a rotating bracket 58. The mechanism controls power to the elements and includes a first 51, second 52 and third 53 housing. The first housing has a water inlet 511 connected to the inlet pipe, a water outlet (512, figure 3) connected to the water tank, and a first 54 and second 542 watertight ring. The first ring allows water flow between the inlet and outlet when in a first position proximate a base plate 50 and prevents water flow when in a second position distal the base plate. An aperture (541, figure 6) in the first ring permits water flow into an inner cavity. The second ring is movable in/out of the cavity and actuates the bracket via a locating assembly 56, compression plate 565 and T-bar 566. The second housing has a chamber defined by a diaphragm 57 operable to actuate the bracket via ejector pins 572. The bracket is hinged and rotates under the influence of the pins and T-bar to contact micro-switches (591, figure 7) that toggle the heating elements power on/off.

Description

A new instant electric water heater This invention relates to instant electric water heater.
Today, instant electric water heater has been widely used in people's lives, instant electric water heater's basic features are: cold water flows through and hot water flows out, once water is turned on, after several seconds, hot water can flows out continually, when hot water is not used, just need to turn off water. In order to reach cold water flows through and hot water flows out result, instant electric water heater's heating power is very high, when water inlet channel is closed, heating elements' residual heat will keep heating water inside water tank, once water outlet channel is opened, residual heated water inside water tank is easy to burn people. Therefore, after heating elements' electricity is turned off, product need to let cold water flows through water tank for a while, and let cold water brings heating elements' residual heat away. Current available solution is to control through PCB, water switch, and solenoid valve. After push water switch, PCB cuts off heating elements' electricity, then delay for a while, after delay period, then electrify solenoid valve, close water inlet channel, but this control method is complicated, manufacturing cost is high, also reliability and safety of control is low.
The technical problem this invention to solve is to provide a low manufacturing cost, high use safety and reliability new instant electric water heater.
To achieve the above oblect, the present invention's technical solution is: A new type instant electric water heater, includes water tank, heating elements, water inlet pipe and water outlet pipe. Water outlet pipe is connecting with water tank's outlet, there is water and electricity control mechanism between water tank's inlet and inlet pipe, this described mechanism includes first, second and third housing that set in order. First housing has water inlet and water outlet channels, water inlet channel in the first housing is connecting to water inlet pipe, water outlet channel in the first housing is connecting to water tank's inlet pipe.
First housing's inside is fitted with up and down movable first watertight ring, when this ring is at up position, it separates first housing's water inlet and outlet channels, when this ring is at down position, it connects first housing's water inlet and outlet channels, the ring's surface has a water hole connects to first housing's water inlet channel and first housing's inner cavity which is under first watertight ring. First watertight ring's center hole is fitted with up and down movable second watertight ring, second watertight ring's center has ejector pin, at the pin's bottom, there is sealing plug,when ejector pin moving up, sealing plug blocks second watertight ring's central hole, when ejector pin moving down, sealing plug opens second watertight ring's central hole, second watertight ring's central hole is connecting to first housing's water outlet channel and first housing's inner cavity which is under first watertight ring, ejector pin's top goes through first housing and connects to locating assembly that helps ejector pin's up and down position.
Described locating assembly part includes sleeve fixed with first housing's top, ejector pin's top is fitted inside sleeve, the sleeve's inside has a ratchet, the ratchet is set at ejector pin's top, compression spring is fitted between ejector pin and first housing, the sleeve's inside is also fitted with a compression bar that extends sleeve up end, compression bar's bottom has ratchet that matches with above described ratchet, compression bar's top is connecting with compression plate's one side, compression plate's the other side at least connects to a T bar that is parallel with compression bar.
Second housing is fitted with impermeable membrane,second housing's inner cavity above this membrane is connecting with first housing's water outlet channel, membrane's bottom is fixed with a ejector pin jacket, ejector pin's jacket is fitted with at least one ejector pin that extend second housing's bottom, there is compression spring between ejector pin and ejector pin's jacket.
At least one rotation bracket's middle is hinged on the second housing's outside, rotation bracket has left top end, left bottom end and right end, rotation bracket's left top end is clipped with T-bar described above, rotation bracket's left bottom end is matching with described ejector pin's bottom end.
Third housing's side at least fix with a microswitch that controls electric heating elements' power on/off, microswitch's contact is matching with rotation bracket's right end.
Described ejector pin drives rotation bracket's left bottom end so that the rotation bracket rotates counterclockwise, then rotation bracket's right end push microswitch's contact and connect electric heating elements' power, described T bar pulls rotation bracket's left top so that rotation bracket rotates clockwise, rotation bracket's right end is apart from microswitch's contact and cut off electric heating elements' power.
Further improvement, there is flow control valve between described water tank's inlet and water and electricity control mechanism, flow control valve's water inlet is connected to first housing's water outlet channel, flow control valve's water outlet is connecting with water tank's inlet. Through flow control valve, it can adjust water outlet pipe's output water flow rate, easy to use.
Further improvement, described first housing is combined with upper cover and bottom cap, described second housing is combined with back cover and top cap.
Described upper cover and back cover connected as one, first housing and third housing are fixed on a base plate for easy assembly and manufacturing.
Further improvement, described inlet pipe includes main pipe connects to first housing's water inlet channel, main pipe's one side has first and second pipes, main pipe's the other end has third pipe, first pipe is connecting with a L shape pipe, L shape pipe's free end has male thread, first seal gland is on the second pipe, second seal gland is on the third pipe. So this can be connected with external inlet pipe through many directions, easy for water heater's installation.
Further improvement, described first pipe's external surface has annular groove,[-shaped pipe's connection end has radial groove, use clip to clip on [-shape pipe's radial groove and first pipe's external surface's annular groove, so that L-shape pipe's axial direction on first pipe is positioned, and o-ring seal is fitted between L-shape pipe's internal surface and first pipe's external surface. Easy connection for [-shaped pipe and first pipe, also L-shaped pipe can rotate along first pipe's circumferential direction easy for external water pipe connection.
Further improvement, described second pipe's external surface has annular groove, the first sealing sleeve's end has radial groove, use clip to clip on the first sealing sleeve's end's radial groove and the second pipe's external surface's annular groove, so that the first sealing sleeve's axial direction on second pipe is positioned, and 0-ring seal is fitted between first sealing sleeve's internal surface and second pipe's external surface. Described third pipe has annular groove, second sealing sleeve is barrel shape, second sealing sleeve's end has radial groove, use clip to clip on the second sealing sleeve's end's radial groove and third pipe's external surface's annular groove, so that the second sealing sleeve's axial direction on third pipe is positioned, and 0-ring seal is fitted between second sealing sleeve's internal surface and third pipe's external surface. So when second pipe and third pipe are not used, easy to seal second pipe and third pipe through first seal sleeve and second seal sleeve, when second pipe or third pipe needs to be used, remove first seal sleeve or second seal sleeve is enough.
Further improvement, described water tank is fixed on a backplate, backplate's back is connecting to a rear wall panel, rear wall panel has many installation holes.
Easy to install, especially replace previous water heater.

Further improvement, described second housing's side face is hinged to two rotary brackets, there are two T-bars that in parallel with compression bar fixed to described compression bar, inside ejector pin's jacket, there are two parallel ejector pins and they extend second housing's bottom. Third housing's two sides are with one microswitch respectively, water tank has two electric heating elements inside, two microswitches control two heating elements' power on/off respectively, two rotary brackets' left top parts are clipped to two T-bars, two rotary brackets' left bottom parts are matching with two ejector pins' bottom, two rotary brackets' right parts match with two microswitches' contacts.Trough two switch covers and microswitches matching, it controls two heating elements' electricity on/off.
Further improvement, described third housing's center has a rotary spindle goes through, spindle extends third housing's lower part has a fan shape plate, two rotary brackets' right bottom parts have a socket respectively, rotary spindles can drive their lower part's fan shape plates to match with sockets at two rotary brackets' right bottom, or not to match with sockets at two rotary brackets' right bottom. When spindle's fan shape plate is matching with one rotary bracket's right bottom socket, it can lock one bracket and not able to rotate, then one heating element will not be electrified, therefore, through rotate spindle, heating power can be selected.
In the present invention, first watertight ring is at the bottom, first housing's water inlet channel and water outlet channel are connected, then water entering second housing's top drives membrane deform downwards, membrane drives ejector pin's jacket and ejector pin move downwards, ejector pin drives rotary bracket's left bottom part and makes rotary bracket rotates anti-clockwise, and rotary bracket's right end will push microswitch's contact, then microswitch can connect to heating elements' electricity, heating elements then heat water inside tank, finally hot water flows out from outlet pipe.
When requires to stop water, press plate, plate drives pressing bar to match with ratchet, under compression spring's working, compression bar and ejector pin move upwards and positioning, compression bar drives pressing plate and I shape bar move upwards and positioning, T shape bar then drives rotary bracket's left top part to make it rotation clockwise, rotary bracket's right end then leave away from microswitch's contact, microswitch then cut off heating elements' electricity, at the same time, ejector pin's bottom seal block second watertight ring's central hole, water in first housing's water inlet channel then gradually fill water to first housing under first watertight ring through water hole above first watertight ring's surface. During water filling process, first watertight ring moves up gradually, when first watertight ring moves to right position, first housing's water inlet channel and outlet channel will be separated, which delays water shut down, through this function, residual heat on the heating elements will be removed and prevent scalding.
Thus the present invention can realize water delay shut down function through pressing compression plate, comparing to FOB control, water on/off switch and solenoid valve, this design has lower manufacturing costs, higher use security and reliability.

First housing 51 has water inlet channel 511 and water outlet channel 512, inside, first housing 51's water inlet channel 511 connects to water inlet pipe 3, first housing 51's water outlet channel 512 connects to water tank l's inlet through flow control valve 6, flow control valve 6's inlet 61 connects to first housing Si's water outlet channel 512, flow control valve 6's water outlet 62 connects to water tank l's inlet.
First housing Si's inside is fitted with up and down movable first watertight ring 54, when this ring 54 is at up position, it separates first housing 51's water inlet channel 511 and outlet channel 512, when this ring 54 is at down position, it connects first housing 51's water inlet channel 511 and outlet channel 512, the ring 54's surface has a water hole 541 connects to first housing 51's water inlet channel 511 and first housing Si's inner cavity which is under first watertight ring 54. First watertight ring 54's center hole is fitted with up and down movable second watertight ring 542, second watertight ring 542's center hole has ejector pin 55, at the pin 55's bottom, there is sealing plug 551,when ejector pin 55 moving up, sealing plug 551 blocks second watertight ring 542's central hole, when ejector pin 55 moving down, sealing plug 551 opens second watertight ring 542's central hole, second watertight ring 542's central hole is connecting to first housing 51's water outlet channel 512 and first housing 51's inner cavity which is under first watertight ring 54, ejector pin 55's top goes through first housing 51 and connects to locating assembly 56 that helps ejector pin 55's up and down position.
Described locating assembly part 56 includes sleeve 561 fixed with first housing 51's top, ejector pin 55's top is fitted inside sleeve 561, the sleeve 561's inside has a ratchet 562, the ratchet 562 is set at ejector pin 55's top, compression spring 563 is fitted between ejector pin 55 and first housing 51, the sleeve 561's inside is also fitted with a compression bar 564 that extends sleeve 561 up end, compression bar 564's bottom has ratchet that matches with above described ratchet 562, compression bar 564's top is connecting with compression plate 565's one side, compression plate 565's the other side at least connects to a T bar 566 that is parallel with compression bar 564.
Second housing 52 is fitted with impermeable membrane 57,second housing 52's inner cavity above this membrane 57 is connecting with first housing Si's water outlet channel 512, membrane 57's bottom is fixed with a ejector pin jacket 571, ejector pin 571's jacket is fitted with two parallel ejector pins 572 that extend second housing 52's bottom, there is compression spring 573 between ejector pin 572 and ejector pin's jacket 571.
There are two rotation brackets 58's middle parts are hinged on the second housing 52's outside respectively, rotation bracket 58 has left top end 581, left bottom end 582 and right end 583, rotation brackets 58's left top end 581 is clipped with T-bar 566 described above, rotation brackets 58's left bottom end 582 is matching with described two ejector pins 572's bottom end.
Third housing 53's two sides are fixed with two microswitches 59, two microswitches control two electric heating elements 2's power on/off, microswitches 59's contacts 591 are matching with rotation brackets 58's right end 583.
Third housing 53's center has a rotary spindle 531 goes through, spindle 531 extends third housing S3's lower part has a fan shape plate 5311, two rotary brackets S8's right end S83's bottom have a socket 5831 respectively, rotary spindles S31 can drive their lower part's fan shape plates 5311 to match with sockets 5831 at two rotary brackets 58's right end S83's bottom, or not to match with sockets 5831 at two rotary brackets 58's right end's bottom.
Described first housing 51 is combined with upper cover Sia and bottom cap Sib, described second housing 52 is combined with back cover 52a and top cap 52b.

When fan shape plate 5311 at spindle 531's bottom not match with sockets 5831 at two rotary brackets 58's right bottom, two rotary brackets 58 can rotate, press plate 565, plate 565 will drive compression bar 564 and ratchet 562 matching, so that ejector pin 55 move downwards and fixing, seal plug 551 at ejector pin 55's bottom can open second watertight ring 542's central hole, through second watertight ring 542's central hole, water inside first housing 51's inner cavity that belows first watertight ring 54 can goes through second watertight ring 542's central hole and flows from first housing 51's water outlet channel 512, flow control valve 6, then flows into water tank 1, water pressure above first watertight ring 54 then is higher than water pressure under the first watertight ring 54, therefore water pressure rapidly drives first watertight ring 54 move downwards, connects first housing 51's water inlet channel 511 and water outlet channel 512, also, second housing 52's inner cavity above impermeable membrane 57, due to connection with first housing 51's water outlet channel, water also flows in, water pressure drives impermeable membrane 57 deforms downwards, impermeable membrane 57 then drives ejector pin jacket 571 and two ejector pins 572 move downwards, two ejector pins 572 drive two rotary brackets 58's left bottom end 582 respectively, and let two rotary brackets 58 rotate anti-clockwise, two rotary brackets 58's right bottom end 583 push two microswitches 59's contacts 591, two microswitches 59 then connect two heating elements 2's power supply at the same time, then two heating elements 2 heat water inside water tank 1, water outlet pipe 4 then can release hot water.

During water filling process, first watertight ring 54 moves up gradually, when first watertight ring 54 moves to right position, first housing 51's water inlet channel 511 and outlet channel 512 will be separated, which delays water shut down, through this function, residual heat on the heating elements 2 will be removed and prevent scalding.
When fan shape plate 5311 at the spindle 531's bottom is matching with socket 5831 below one rotary bracket 58's right bottom 583, stuck rotary bracket 58 cannot rotate, microswitch 59 relates to rotary bracket 5 cannot work, heating element 2 controlled by niicroswitch 59 will not electrified, therefore use rotation spindle 531 can select heating power.

Claims (10)

  1. CLAIMS1. A new type instant electric water heater, includes water tank, heating elements, water inlet pipe and water outlet pipe. Water outlet pipe is connecting with water tank's outlet, its feature is: water and electricity control mechanism between water tank's inlet and inlet pipe, this described mechanism includes first, second and third housing that set in order. First housing has water inlet and water outlet channels, water inlet channel in the first housing is connecting to water inlet pipe, water outlet channel in the first housing is connecting to water tank's inlet pipe.First housing's inside is fitted with up and down movable first watertight ring, when this ring is at up position, it separates first housing's water inlet and outlet channels, when this ring is at down position, it connects first housing's water inlet and outlet channels, the ring's surface has a water hole connects to first housing's water inlet channel and first housing's inner cavity which is under first watertight ring. First watertight ring's center hole is fitted with up and down movable second watertight ring, second watertight ring's center has ejector pin, at the pin's bottom, there is sealing plug,when ejector pin moving up, sealing plug blocks second watertight ring's central hole, when ejector pin moving down, sealing plug opens second watertight ring's central hole, second watertight ring's central hole is connecting to first housing's water outlet channel and first housing's inner cavity which is under first watertight ring, ejector pin's top goes through first housing and connects to locating assembly that helps ejector pin's up and down position.Described locating assembly part includes sleeve fixed with first housing's top, ejector pin's top is fitted inside sleeve, the sleeve's inside has a ratchet, the ratchet is set at ejector pin's top, compression spring is fitted between ejector pin and first housing, the sleeve's inside is also fitted with a compression bar that extends sleeve up end, compression bar's bottom has ratchet that matches with above described ratchet, compression bar's top is connecting with compression plate's one side, compression plate's the other side at least connects to aT bar that is parallel with compression bar.Second housing is fitted with impermeable membrane,second housing's inner cavity above this membrane is connecting with first housing's water outlet channel, membrane's bottom is fixed with a ejector pin jacket, ejector pin's jacket is fitted with at least one ejector pin that extend second housing's bottom, there is compression spring between ejector pin and ejector pin's jacket.At least one rotation bracket's middle is hinged on the second housing's outside, rotation bracket has left top end, left bottom end and right end, rotation bracket's left top end is clipped with T-bar described above, rotation bracket's left bottom end is matching with described ejector pin's bottom end.Third housing's side at least fix with a microswitch that controls electric heating elements' power on/off, microswitcb's contact is matching with rotation bracket's right end.Described ejector pin drives rotation bracket's left bottom end so that the rotation bracket rotates counterclockwise, then rotation bracket's right end push microswitch's contact and connect electric heating elements' power, described T bar pulls rotation bracket's left top so that rotation bracket rotates clockwise, rotation bracket's right end is apart from microswitch's contact and cut oft electric heating elements' power.
  2. 2. according to claim 1 described, a new instant electric water heater, its feature is: there is flow control valve between described water tank's inlet and water and electricity control mechanism, flow control valve's water inlet is connected to first housing's water outlet channel, flow control valve's water outlet is connecting with water tank's inlet.
  3. 3. according to claim 1 described, a new instant electric water heater, its feature is:described first housing is combined with upper cover and bottom cap, described second housing is combined with back cover and top cap. Described upper cover and back cover connected as one, first housing and third housing are fixed on a base plate.
  4. 4. according to claim 1 described, a new instant electric water heater, its feature is:described inlet pipe includes main pipe connects to first housing's water inlet channel, main pipe's one side has first and second pipes, main pipe's the other end has third pipe, first pipe is connecting with a L shape pipe, L shape pipe's free end has male thread, first seal gland is on the second pipe, second seal gland is on the third pipe.
  5. 5. according to claim 4 described, a new instant electric water heater, its feature is:described first pipe's external surface has annular groove,L-shaped pipe's connection end has radial groove, use clip to clip on L-shape pipe's radial groove and first pipe's external surface's annular groove, so that L-shape pipe's axial direction on first pipe is positioned, and 0-ring seal is fitted between [-shape pipe's internal surface and first pipe's external surface.
  6. 6. according to claim 4 described, a new instant electric water heater, its feature is: described second pipe's external surface has annular groove, the first sealing sleeve's end has radial groove, use clip to clip on the first sealing sleeve's end's radial groove and the second pipe's external surface's annular groove, so that the first sealing sleeve's axial direction on second pipe is positioned, and o-ring seal is fitted between first sealing sleeve's internal surface and second pipe's external surface. Described third pipe has annular groove, second sealing sleeve is barrel shape, second sealing sleeve's end has radial groove, use clip to clip on the second sealing sleeve's end's radial groove and third pipe's external surface's annular groove, so that the second sealing sleeve's axial direction on third pipe is positioned, and 0-ring seal is fitted between second sealing sleeve's internal surface and third pipe's external surface.
  7. 7. according to claim 1 described, a new instant electric water heater, its feature is: described water tank is fixed on a backplate, backplate's back is connecting to a rear wall panel, rear wall panel has many installation holes.
  8. 8. according to claim 7 described, a new instant electric water heater, its feature is: described water tank's two sides' bottom all fitted with power connection terminals.
  9. 9. according to claim 1 to 8, anyone of them described, a new instant electric water heater, its feature is: described second housing's side face is hinged to two rotary brackets, there are two I-bars that in parallel with compression bar fixed to described compression bar, inside ejector pin's jacket, there are two parallel ejector pins and they extend second housing's bottom. Third housing's two sides are with one microswitch respectively, water tank has two electric heating elements inside, two microswitches control two heating elements' power on/off respectively, two rotary brackets' left top parts are clipped to two I-bars, two rotary brackets' left bottom parts are matching with two ejector pins' bottom, two rotary brackets' right parts match with two microswitches' contacts.
  10. 10. according to claim 1 described, a new instant electric water heater, its feature is: described third housing's center has a rotary spindle goes through, spindle extends third housing's lower part has a fan shape plate, two rotary brackets' right end parts have a socket respectively, rotary spindles can drive their lower part's fan shape plates to match with sockets at two rotary brackets' right end, or not to match with sockets at two rotary brackets' right end.
