Abstract
The invention relates to a device (1 ) for a floatable craft (2), which comprises water jet nozzles (30, 40, 50, 60) arranged to eject water below the water line of the craft. According to the invention two or more water jet nozzles (30, 40, 50, 60), with opposite each other directed water jets (5-8) of equal sizes, and which are arranged to function as fins and dampers in order to reduce the motions of the craft (2) in the degrees of freedom of the craft (2), are supported by a unit (3) supported by the craft (2), or which are permanently built into the hull (20) of the craft below the water line (4) of the craft. Said opposite each other directed water jets (5-8) are arranged to make it possible to reduce the degrees of freedom of the craft. The invention also relates to a proceeding for this purpose.
