Abstract

A stand-alone display vessel 10 comprises a flat base 12, an internal support structure 18, 20 and a substantially cylindrical display surface 14. A lid 22 and a header panel 24 for displaying further advertising may also be provided. A support structure 20c for the header panel may be provided with a slot 22b being provided in the lid. Ballast for weighting the device is preferably provided in the form of rods 16 which are attachable to the base. The vessel preferably has the form of a disposable cup.

Outdoor Branded Display Vessel

Background of the Invention

The present invention relates to an outdoor display vessel with an advertising function, having a high visual effect in an outdoor environment.

The present invention provides a stand-alone platform for multiple advertising and promotional messages offering a 360 degree display. Deployed in an outdoor environment it communicates its messages to a high standard and has a high impact from a distance to heighten both brand and product awareness.

Summary of the Invention

In accordance with the invention, the outdoor branded display vessel comprises an internal support structure for the mounting of multiple advertising and promotional messages.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the internal support structure comprises a base with a series of tubular weight poles, a tubular shaft rising from the base and also a top plate. The advertising display can be placed around the internal support structure, with the base and top plates providing areas for the mounting of the advertising. Rising from the top plate is a header panel providing additional branding and advertising area, having high visual effect at eye level. A lid is added to the top to cover the internal support structure from weathering.

Objectives of the Invention An object of the invention is to provide branding and advertising displays visible from a ranged distance.

Another object of the invention is to provide a 360 degree branding and advertising display.

Brief Description of the Drawings

Detailed Description of the Invention

Referring to the drawing FIG.1, the outdoor branded display vessel 10 comprises a fiat base 12 with multiple uprights 12a in which provide mounting points for the branding message or advertising display 14. The base 12 comprises multiple fixing locations 12b to allow the addition of casters or wheel units if more maneuverability is required.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the base 12 allows for multiple fixing points 12c (FIG.3) for the attachment of tubular weight rods 16, which allow attachment of additional weighted objects to increase stability during poor weather conditions and prevent movement. In a preferred form, the tubular weight rods 16 will have securing points 16a towards the top of the tube, preventing any additional weighted objects added from moving inside the outdoor branded display vessel.

Referring to the drawing FIG. 3, a preferred form of the base 12 also allows for multiple shaft fixing points 12d. This allows secure attachment of the upright tubular shaft 18 via the fixing points 18b located on the tubular shaft base 18a. At the top of the tubular shaft 18 there will be further fixing points 1 8c for the attachment of the top plate 20.

The top plate 20 comprises of multiple fixing points 20a allowing it to be securely fixed to the tubular shaft 18. It has multiple fixing tabs 20b in which protrude below providing mounting points for the branding message or advertising display 14. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the top plate allows for upright tabs 20c for the attachment of a header panel 24. Preferably, the top plate 20 would have multiple lid fixing points 20d for the attachment of the vessel lid 22.

The header panel 24 is preferably fixed perpendicular to the top plate 20 via mounted points 24a. The header panel 24 is used as an additional mounting area for branding messages or advertising displays.

The branded message or advertising display 14 is preferably constructed from a flexible material that can be placed around the internal support structure. For optimum visibility from greater distances it should be preferably placed at an angle between 70-110 degrees with respect to the base 12.

The outdoor branded display vessel should also feature a lid 22 as shown in drawings FIGS. 1 2 and 3 and would be preferably slightly tapered in form. This protects the internal support structure from weathering and also provides other branding and advertising opportunities, giving the outdoor branded display vessel a premium appearance. There are multiple fixing points 22a in which provide points to secure the lid 22 to the top plate 20. There is a slot 22b located on top face which allows the header panel 24 to extrude up through the lid. In a preferred form, the lid features a rim 22c which would sit below the top plate 20 covering the internal support structure and the branded message or advertising display 14, as shown in FIG. 3.
