Abstract
A cosmetic composition is disclosed that is a mixture of alum and petroleum jelly. The composition may be used to treat skin defects such as wrinkles, stretch marks and rough skin.
Description
Compound for treatment of external skin defects
Field
The present invention relates to a compound formula and application method for the remedy and treatment of external skin defects. In particular, to a unique compound mixed of naturally occurring salts and petroleum jelly.
Background
The human skin is subject to stretching and marking due to natural processes such as childbirth, love making and natural injury.
The human skin responds to external treatments because of changes in moisture and its external chemical environment. Lasting effects can be obtained with the repeated application of the compounds, which cause a reaction in the skin.
Different compounds will produce different reactions, many of which can have the effect of remedying otherwise unsightly skin defects.
Aspects and embodiments of the present invention were devised with the foregoing in mind.
A naturally occurring salt called Alum with the chemical formula KAh(SC*4)2(OH), a rock-forming sulfate mineral that occupies pockets or seams in volcanic rocks such as rhyolites, trachytes, and andesites is a natural source of hydrated aluminium sulphate and potassium.
The "Babylon Gel" invention combines this compound in a powdered form with an application jelly for use on external skin imperfections.
The Babylon Gel Compound can be formulated as follows: a. Take a mass of Alum crystals and grind to a fine powder with the constituency of talc, and measure a volume of the tine powder.
b. Prepare an identical volume of petroleum jelly (CAS number 8009-03-8) in a large mixing bowl.
S c. Add the Alum powder to the petroleum jelly by opening folds of the jelly, and mixing with a knife or other such mixing utensil or system.
d. Continue mixing until the powder is evenly distributed throughout the volume of jelly.
e. The resultant compound is reterred to as Babylon Gel and is the subject of this Patent.
The Babylon Jelly can be applied externally to the skin. Best effects are achieved when applied to freshly washed and dried skin.
A thin layer of the Gel needs to be applied to completely cover the defective skin area.
Claims (3)
- Claims: 1. Babylon Gel when applied consistently to many types of stretch marks on any area of skin, including but not limited to, the hands, the skin below the eyes, the belly, the feet, and elsewhere causes the gradual disappearance or fading of the marks.
- 2. Babylon Gel when applied consistently to many types of loose skin in any area of the body, including but not limited to, the hands, the skin below the eyes, the belly, the feet, and elsewhere causes the gradual tightening of the skin.
- 3. Babylon Gel when applied consistently to many types of rough skin on any area of body, including but not limited to, the hands, the skin below the eyes, the belly, the feet, and elsewhere causes the gradual smoothing of the rough skin.
