Abstract

A peaked cap A having a grooved attachment rail B to the peak, allowing a visor C to be inserted into the groove. The visor may be made of a flexible material, so that when it is inserted into the groove it is held in place by its resilience. The visor may be clear or tinted, and is preferably removable. The cap may be a baseball style cap used by golfers.

Title.
CLEAR VIEW CAP
Background
This invention relates to a way of keeping spectacles dry whilst playing golf or other outdoor persuits.
If you wear spectacles whilst playing golf in the rain your vision becomes impaired due to the water. Also having to stop to clean your spectacles causes further handycap to your game.
Statement of invention.
To overcome this, the present invention proposes a visor that can be attached to a baseball style cap thus shielding the weares spectacles from rain.
CLEAR VIEW CAP
Advantages.
The advantages of this device mean that when looking down to take a shot, the golfers spectacles are clear.
The golfer can still see whilst walking. The visor can be removed when weather is dry or can be substituted from a clear one to a tinted one when sunny.
Visors can be changed when damaged or simply stored untill required.

Detailed Description
CLEAR VIEW CAP
A peaked styled base ball cap A is fitted with a groved attatchment rail B. The visor C then slots into the grove of the attachment rail and is held in place by its own outward force.
The visors are either clear, to keep rain of spectacles or tinted to aid vision in strong sun.

Claims (3)

  1. CLAIMS:CLEAR VIEW CAP1. A peaked cap fitted with a groved attatchment rail to its peak allowing for a visor to be inserted.
  2. 2. A peaked cap according to claim 1 into which a flat, short, flexable visor can be inserted and held in place by its own outward force.
  3. 3. A peaked cap according to claim 1, in which the short flexible visor can be either clear or tinted depending on weather conditions.
