Abstract

The invention relates to an operating unit (10) of an electromotive furniture drive (100) comprising a supply device (9) and at least one adjusting drive (7, 8) comprising a housing, operating elements for operating the at least one adjusting drive (7, 8) of the electromotive furniture drive (100) which is to be associated therewith, and an operating line (18). Said operating elements comprise switch contacts which are designed to directly switch a motor flow of the at least one adjusting drive which is to be associated therewith. Said operating unit (10) comprises a release switch device having a release switch element which is designed to switch an operating state of the operating unit (10) from an 'off' operating position, in which the above-mentioned operating elements are not in operation when actuated, into an 'on' position in which the above-mentioned operating elements operate the at least one adjusting drive (7, 8) which are associated therewith when activated.
