Abstract

A drinks vending machine can dispense drinks to specifically designed cups, beakers and bottles (drinks holders) which are aligned to interface with the machine. The drinks holders each contain an electronic chip that the drinks vending machine can read. The electronic chip in the drinks holder links the user to their vending account which contains their monetary deposits, favourite drink selections, drinks holder capacity and other user information. Monetary deposits and user information can be updated either using the drinks vending machines interface screen or via a website which contains the users account information. The drinks holders are re-usable. The drinks vending machine has a touch screen interface which allows the user to choose which product they wish to be vended and the user account can be updated accordingly. The drinks holders have a coupling to be attached to the drinks vending machine, the coupling having a one-way valve allowing the flow of the selected drink into the drinks holder. The drinks vending machine may also have an IR sensor array to determine the size of the drinks holder.

Electronic Interface, Valve Dispensing, Drinks Vending Machine
Description
This invention relates to an Electronic Interface, Valve Dispensing, Drinks Vending Machine ("Device") that can dispense drinks through a system of sensors and valve to specifically designed cups, beakers and bottles ("Drinks Holder's") which are aligned to interface with the Device. These specifically designed Drinks Holder's will contain an electronic chip that the device will be programmed to read. This electronic chip will link the user to their vending account which will contain their monetary deposits, favourite drink selections and other user information. Monetary deposits and user information can be updated either using the machines interface screen or via a website which contains the users account information (all in accordance with data information and protection laws). The Drinks Holder's will be re-usable for life.
The Device will have a touch screen interface which will allow the user to choose which product they wish to be vended through the Device into the specifically designed "Drinks Holder's" and shall deduct credit from the users account once this transaction has occurred.
Drink vending machines no longer meet the needs and requirements of the modern world. The current process and technology for vending drinks is slow and damaging to the environment due to the the continual disposal of the paper and plastic bottles and cups that contain the drinks. In addition to this, the current process is inconvienient for people who have to carry loose coins and change with them to use drinks vending machines.
This invention however shall eradicate the current issues with drink vending machines and provide a technological leap for the industry. Through the specifically designed Device the user will place their Drinks Holder's onto the Devices outward valve. This valve will connect into the Drinks Holder's inlet hole which is where the liquid will be dispensed. This Drinks Holder will also contain a chip at the bottom of it which the Device will read and bring the user's account details and drinks choices onto the Devices touch screen interface. The user can then choose the drink of their choice. The device will then dispense this drink and deduct the monetary credit from the users account. The user will then disconnect the Drinks Holder and enjoy their vended product. This Drinks Holder will be re-usable for life, eradicated the environment issues with current drinks vending.
The data stored within the electronic chip of the Drinks Holder's will be connected to the user's online account. Here, the user can add credit to their account, change their profile by including their name and favoured choices of drink. Therefore, when the device reads the chip the touch screen interface will show these details, bringing upon the screen the users favoured drinks to choose from to add to the speed of the vending experience.
