Abstract

A tyre and rim protecting unit showing in drawings point 2 on Fig 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 item number 2 ) is an alloy or similar metal domed rube like, affixed around each rim of any vehicle as an add-on to existing rim (drawing 2 of Fig 3) or a fixture as part of the rim, setting in a dome shape (drawing 1 of 3 Fig 1) on the centre of the rim at 15mm above the edges of the rim see (drawing 3 of 3). The automatic tyre inflating rim contains pressurised sealing foam with pressurised air triggered and released by the sensor or a releasing button (drawing 1 of 3 Fig 5) through several nozzles situated on the sides of the automatic tyre inflating rim. When the tyre is punctured and deflated, the inside of the tyre will touch the automatic tyre inflating rim and will cause pressure on the sensors or the releasing button found on the domed automatic tyre inflating rim (5 of Drawing 1 of 3 Fig l and 2) and release the highly pressured air and foam which will seal the tyre inside and inflate it allowing the vehicle to carry on with the journey until next repair workshop.

Description

Description
Tyre and Rim Protecting Unit This invention relates to motor vehicle rim with attached Tyre and Rim Protecting Unit with automatic inflating function that is manufactured as a built-in the centre of the rim and setting under the tyre, or mounted on the rim as add-on.
Structure: A Domed tube like unit made from the same material as the rim (aluminium Alloy or other materials), fixed or mounted around the rim as an add-on to existing rim (drawing 2 of 3 Fig 3) or a fixture as part of the rim, the Tyre and Rim Protecting Unit contains pressurised air and sealing foam connected to re'ease nozz'es on the side of the of it (point 6 of drawings Fig 1, Fig 2,Fig 3 and Fig4) with sensors on top of the dome as showing in drawings (point 5 FigI. Fig 2,Fig 3, Fig 4 and Fig6), The domed tube is mounted higher than the edge of the rim at least 15mm as showing in drawings Fig 1, Fig 5 and Fig6 to protect the tyre from getting shredded by the sharp edges of the rim.
As the tyre get puncture and deflate, and the inside of the tyre will rest on the Tyre and Rim Protecting Unit which is higher than the edge of the nm, and while the lyre presses on it, the sensor or the release button will activate the pressurised air and sealing foam to be released through the nozzles point 6 on drawings) and inflate the tyre while sealing the holes in the tyre, until the vehicle reaches a safety or an area where the tyre can be repaired.
Purpose: The Tyre and Rim Protecting Unit The existing motor vehicle wheel offers no protection and does not have any safety features, if the tyre get a punctured while driving at high speed, the tyre will get shredded and the rim will get damaged also damage the road which will put the passengers and driver in great danger, where the Tyre And Rim Protection Unit (TARPU) was invented to protect the tyre from being shredded by the edge of the rim also to protect the rem from damage by the road surface. The TARPU sets 15mm higher than the edge of the rem as showing in Fig I, Fig S and Fig 6 adding the thickness of the tyre. the rim edge will in way touch the road surface, and will keep the vehicle fairly stable while the Automatic inflating function start when the sensor activated, Key to drawings 1-Alloy or metal Rem 2-AUoy or metal lyre and Rim Protector Unit 3-Fitted Tyre on Rem 4-Domed metal setting 15 mm above rem edge 5-Sensor which releases air and foam * 6-Air and foam release Nozzle 7-Pressurised Air and Foam tube 8-holes for screws to attach the 2 halves
