Abstract

A six sided prop providing five different height elevations to support or wedge body parts, e.g. the head or limbs, comprises a smooth and rubbery shaped block with inwardly curved faces 1,2,3,4 and without any sharp edges. The prop is cleanable and it may be used as an aid in many settings, e.g. domestic, sport, medical, therapeutic and beauty.

Background:
This invention relates to propping human body parts.
Many professions need to elevate and support a limb as an aid to practise to avoid unnecessary stress on both the practitioner and client. Usually cushions and rolled towels are used which are neither hygienic nor provide adequate elevation, often practitioners put their own physical health at risk by being unable to position a client correctly.
Statement of invention
To overcome this, the prop is a multi-height, shaped, comfortable, hygienic device designed to elevate and support many different body parts.
Advantages The prop is a single unit shaped to provide multiple height settings for use on body parts and is cleanable, portable and lightweight. It can be used in many settings, domestic, sport, medical, therapeutic and beauty.
Detailed description
The prop is designed to be used on any part of the body. It is made of a smooth rubbery material that can easily be cleaned between uses and is comfortable to the skin without sharp edges. By flipping it on to one of its different faces it achieves five different height elevations but it can also be used as a limb spacer or wedge to prevent roll-over.
Drawings An example of the invention will now be described by referring to the accompanying drawings: Figure 1 shows 5 examples of possible uses of the prop to support limbs and a head Figure 2 shows the 6 sided shape designed to provide 5 different elevations.
