Abstract

A hanging space saving collection bag made from wipe clean material or any other fabric or plastics that can be hung onto any protruding attachment from its own handle. The front part has a top opening with a flap and the back part has a big patch pocket with different sections and two bottom loops so that clips can be attached. A plastic bag can be hung from the clips for transferring contents from the collection bag. The side border that holds front and back together has a zip opening at the bottom with two zip sliders facing opposite directions with a custom designed closure. The top side of the border has an inside plastics handle support with two eyelets to form the handle part. The bag can be used to store toys, being flexible to easily accommodate awkward shapes and easily opened by a child at the bottom so that the toys fall out. It can be used for dirty clothes collection or in hospitals or schools.

HANGING SPACE SAVER COLLECTION BAG

INTRODUCTION

A hanging space saver collection bag to be used at home, schools, shops, waiting areas and can be made of various materials according to customers, requirements. Mostly advised from durable washable or wipe clean materials such as polypropylene or any other printed or clear plastics that can be used over and over, thus reducing waste.

* PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Front and back are of the same size with rounded corners and with a printed logo, design or collection details such as type of waste to be included and time and date of next collection due. The front will have a cut-out upper section so that items can be dropped in from the opening and than a flap will cover the cut-out part when not in use.

The back has one big patch pocket attached with stitching and sectional divided with vertical stitching as required to section off one pocket for different collectable items and another section for a spare roll of recycling plastic bags.

At the bottom of the back pocket two loops will be attached so that two small clips will be clipped on or attached by the customer if needed so that discarded items can be easily transferred from the collection bag to a plastic bag or to any other container such as a cardboard box linen container to be carried to another place or finally discarded appropriately for re-cycling disposal or storage later.

The front and back are attached together with a border than can be either stitched with outside binding, semi rigid piping or heat glued which-ever is most cost-effective. At the bottom there is a double slider zipped opening so that the items that are to be re-cycled can be released from this opening into a cardboard box or into a plastic bag or any other container as needed.

If a plastic bag is being used, the plastic bag will be opened and the back part attached to the back side of the bag with the clips so that the mouth of the plastic bag will stay open during transfer of items and therefore a single person, child can use the bag without any other assistance.

If any other container is being used such as a card board box, this can be sat on the floor and the items from inside will effortlessly slip through the bag opening and into the box.

The upper part of the border of the bag will have two eyelets which are reinforced from the inside by means of a semi flexible plastic piece from which a loop handle is drawn through and knotted on the inside so that a handle is formed from which the bag can be easily hung onto a wall hanger behind a door or on to a wall sucker or any other already available hanging wall or window attachment. This way the bag can be conveniently tucked away out of sight.

Both front and back parts are sewed together or heat glued together on the outside with a contrasting binding material or semi rigid piping if so desired so as to retain its shape even when the bag is empty.

ROOMS

In home residences it can be hung in box rooms, behind kitchen doors, in garages, in washrooms outside on balconies or internal yards anywhere where it is easy accessible for all the home users. The print on the front can be changed to aid the users which items can be re-cycled or not and when is the next collection due.

It can be hung on to any available hanging space such as a clothes hanger behind a door or a sucker can be attached to any surface such as tiles and the bag can be hung at any discreet or obvious space as required. In a classroom it can be hung above the waste paper basket so that the children can decide if the item to be discarded is a recyclable item or an organic item. The print on the front of the bag will help them decide, it will also help them remember the date and times when the next outside collections are due.

In hospital rooms and elderly residences this bag can be hung in bathrooms or rest rooms so that the attendants can only empty the contents and use one same plastic bag for several rooms until the bag is full and not use a new one for each room.

This space saver collection bag can be used in youngsters bedrooms so that dirty clothes or any other items can be placed in this bag until collected to be washed. The print on the front can be changed according to the user such as boys and girls rooms. Whilst in the washroom area these bags can be used to separate different colours and indicate different washing loads to be collected separately so that only when a full load is collected it can be washed and thus reducing the electricity and water waste since the bag will immediately indicate if the bag is full or not thus a wash load has been collected.

* FOR CHILREN'S PLAY AREAS TOY COLLECTION This hanging space saver bag can also be used as a toy collection bag in home play areas or kindergarten schools. When the toddler needs to access the toys he only needs to open the bottom zippers and all the toys will be dropped onto the floor. Whereas when playtime is over the child only has to place all the toys back into the bag from the open cut out part with the zips closed at the bottom. This will exclude the need of rigid plastic containers which can be used by the infant as step stools to climb onto, slip off and thus causing an accident. It would also be especially good to accommodate large toys that would require multiple big boxes since it is made of flexible material these toys fit easily in it.
