Abstract

A rotatable sponge-foam roller 4 is attached to a handle 1. The handle incorporates a fixed sealable lid 2 for a container 9 of lotion, such as sun cream. The container 9 may contain a funnel 7, strainer 8 and overflow holes 6. The funnel and strainer 7, 8 optimises the lotion loaded onto the sponge-foam roller 4 as it is removed from the container 9. The roller 4 can preferably rotate both clockwise and anti-clockwise, and a flexible stopper (10, fig.5) may be provided to hold the roller in place. The stopper (10, fig.5) is preferably flexible enough to allow the roller to be removed and replaced with another one if desired. The container 9 is refillable, and all parts are easily cleaned.

Description

Body Lotion Applicator.
Statement Of Invention
To over-come these issues,
Description this invention proposes to
This invention relates to a apply body-lotion quicker, refillable bottle with a hands free-from lotion and removable handle & lid with apply evenly by means of a a manual rotating device, rotating sponge-foam roller for applying various types of with a handle.
body lotion to the human The sponge-foam roller is body. loaded with lotion and optimised from its, non Applying lotion to the body over-flow & refillable by hand or spray, is bottle.
problematic.
Problems-messy & sticky hands, time consuming, lotion clogs-up in your body hair, it is difficult to reach some parts of the body, coverage can be uneven, sand can be a problem scraping on skin, spray-on lotions can get into your lungs & wasted in a gentle breeze, CFCs are bad for the environment.
Because of these reasons, people don't re-apply sun tan lotion as often as required for protecting their skin against cancer causing rays from the sun.
Advantages Speed of application.
Hands-free of lotion.
Roller glides over skin effortlessly.
Clean, no mess or clogging-up.
Easierto reach parts of the body.
Even coverage.
You will apply lotion more often, as required, for protecting-against harmful sun rays-UVA/B. Etc.
No waste. Cost effective.
Easily glides over any sensitive areas on the skin.
Rather than rubbing by hand.
Glides over any beach sand on the body.
You don't rub sand in. into skin.
Easier for disabled people & children.
No CECs, so not harmful to the environment.
You don't inhale spray into lungs.
Refillable container.
Easy to clean all parts.
The sponge foam roller is replaceable.
An example of the invention will now be described by referring to the accompanying drawings: A handle 1. with a scalable fixed lid 2., is attached a sealable shank 3, and to a shaft 5, that holds a rotatable sponge-foam roller 4.
The roller is held in place by a flexible stopper 10. that also allows the sponge foam rollerto be replaced.
The bottle 9. containing a body lotion, has a built -in funnel 7. incorporating a strainer 8., with overflow holes 6.
The bottle 9. receives the sponge foam 4. and can be sealed shut by the shank 3. compressing against the funnel 7. & sealable lid 2.
The sponge foam 4. absorbs the fluid with a couple of shakes of the bottle 9, when closed.
Whilst removing the sponge foam roller 4. from the bottle 9., the strainer 8. removes excess lotion so that the sponge foam contains the optimum amount of fluid for applying to the skin & does not drip.
The loaded roller is then rolled over the skin to deliver the lotion.
Fig 6, Fig], Fig 8.
The sponge foam roller 4. moves clockwise and anti-clockwise for ease of use.
If the loaded sponge foam roller 4. is removed from the bottle 9., not used & replaced, the funnel's holes 6. allow any fluid squeezed from the sponge foam 4. to pass back into the bottle 9., to prevent overflowing.
