Abstract

An electronic identity card holder 100 comprises a slot 150 for receiving an identity card 170; the slot 150 has a first side 150a and an opposing second side 150b, the first side 150a of the slot 150 having a viewing window 140 that allows viewing of the second side 150b of slot 150; the second side 150b of the slot 150 comprises at least a first button 110 configured to perform a function in response to user-actuation; the first button 110 is positioned so as to be covered by an identity card 170 in the slot 150. Second 120 and third 130 buttons may be included and the buttons preferably act to hold a card 170 within the card holder 100.
