Abstract
A radiation-emitting medical apparatus (110) comprising a radiation source (102) and a distance measurement device (105). The distance measurement device (105) is configured to automatically determine a distance between a patient (109a) and the radiation source (102). Further, a method of medically emitting radiation comprising automatically determining a distance between a patient (109a) and a radiation source (102) and emitting radiation.
