Abstract

A cover 10 for a drinking vessel comprising a lower portion 12 for attachment to the vessel; the lower portion 12 having an apertured area 20 through which a liquid contained in the vessel can pass which is divided into multiple small holes 22. A upper portion 14 is movably mounted to the lower portion 12, the upper portion 14 having a first aperture 60 and a second aperture 62 through which liquid contained in the vessel can pass, mesh 64 being provided across the second aperture 62, the second mesh 64 is coarser or finer than the divisions over the holes 22 in the apertured area 20 of the lower portion 12. Movement of the upper portion 14 can selectively align either of its apertures 60, 62 with the apertured area 20 of the lower portion 12. Attachment to a can may be achievable via skirt 26 with gripping tabs 38. The movement is ideally rotation about pivot 60.
