Abstract
A hair cutting aid comprises a helmet in two parts, with a split down the middle 3. The two parts are connected by adjustable strap(s) 1 (19, 21, fig.4) which allow the size of the helmet to be adjusted to fit any head. Dotted lines 4 may be provided to act as guidelines along which the user can cut in order to obtain the style they like. Preferably, a straight section is provided at the side neck line, the back neck line, the side burns and the fringe. The helmet may be made of rubber, and may be collapsible so it can be stored away.
Description
Hair-Cutting Aid This invention relates to a device for styling your hair.
When going the hair dressers or barbers They style and cut your hair according to what you say you would like done. But usually the hair dressers/barbers cut your hair in their way. So the issues faced with this are that you might not want it exactly the way they cut your hair.
Also, it can become costly over time when you have to regularly visit the hairdressers/barbers to trim/cut your hair. As a result to overcome these issues raised, we can use this present invention that proposes the user to be in charge of cutting and styling their own hair by placing this invention on your head with two adjustable straps and allowing you to style/trim your hair using its unique guidelines. It less costly which means you can enjoy its use whenever you feel the need to, leaving a fresh trim/style every time used.
The invention contains guide lines that allow a continuous same style/trim that you desire every time it is used. It is adjustable with its two straps, so it can be modified to suit your head and all head sizes. It has 65° angle that gives a straight cut and not curve. It is collapsible and material is rubber so it gives a tight fit resulting in a same exact cut, but also it doesn't irritate the wearer and is a comfortable fit.
The invention will now be described solely by way of example and with reference to the accompanying drawings in which; Figure 1 shows a front view of the hair-cutting aid with the adjustable straps and adjustable helmet.
Figure 2 shows a right side view with an alternate view of the helmet adjustable mechanism and its shape along the right ear section.
Figure 3 shows a left side view with an alternate view of the adjustable helmet and its shape along the left ear section.
Figure 4 shows a back view with the two adjustable straps and alternate view of the adjustable helmet mechanism.
Figure 5 shows an Ariet view of the adjustable helmet mechanism and the two adjustable straps.
In figure 1 it shows a front view of helmet. It shows a black adjustable strap, number 1 and has two collars fitted; one is loose and the other is fixed to the top left half of the adjustable helmet. The left side of strap is only glued to top of helmet to let the black rubber adjustment slide freely and lock into place. Number 2 shows the helmet and this is made of white rubber for easy fitting. Number 3 is showing a split down the middle to allow the two rubber adjusters to fit any head size for comfortable fitting and is very simple as easy to fit.
There are three rows of dotted lines, number 4, which acts as guidelines to help the user to have the same style every time used as it is simple to follow along the helmet.
Figure 2 shows right side view of the adjustable helmet mechanism and its shape along the right ear section, number 7 and this is at a 65° angle to give a straight cut. It also has guidelines of dotted lines in three rows, numbers, 9. 10, 11 and 12, the guidelines situated along the outline of the helmet for user to follow. Similarly, figure 3 illustrates this in the opposite view, where it shows a left side view of the adjustable helmet and its shape along the left ear section, number 13, which is also at a 65° angle to give a straight cut This also shows the guidelines along the outline of the helmet as seen by numbers 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 for ease of following.
Figure 4 shows a back view with the two adjustable straps, number 19 and alternate view of the adjustable helmet, number 20. There are black rubber adjusters glued to back of the helmet that allows the adjustable mechanism, number 21. Guidelines can also be seen to help indicate neckline, number 22, 23 and 24. Figure 5 shows an Ariel view of the adjustable helmet and the two adjustable straps with slider, number 25, 26, 27 and 28. These help to locate and adjust to a preferred position, number 29 and number 30 allows more grip and hold firmly in place.

The hair-cutting aid helmet comprises of; A white rubber helmet split in half Two adjustable, black rubber straps Two rubber adjusters attach to helmet 6S angle at side neck line that gives a straight cut and not curve Straight cut at back neck line not curved Straight cut guaranteed all time at side burns Straight cut guaranteed all time at fringe Three rows of dotted lines around ear section Compactable pieces of helmet
- 2. The hair-cutting aid helmet of claim 1 allows one to style own hair without assistance of another, which gives same result every time used.</claim-text> <claim-text>3. The hair-cutting aid helmet of claim 1 has the ability to be split in half to fit all head sizes.</claim-text> <claim-text>4. The hair-cutting aid helmet of claim 1 allows it to be adjusted to be fitted to head to allow it to be secured.</claim-text> <claim-text>S. The hair-cutting aid helmet of claim 3 allows the two split halves to be attached.</claim-text> <claim-text>6. The hair-cutting aid helmet of claim 1 gives a straight cut along side of ear and not a curve like the Chinese model of 6-237816.</claim-text> <claim-text>7. The hair-cutting aid helmet of claim 6 can also give a straight cut at side burns and fringe as seen in claim 1.</claim-text> <claim-text>8. The hair-cutting aid helmet of claim 3 is made of white rubber that fits in comfortably on persons head.</claim-text> <claim-text>9. The hair-cutting aid helmet of claim 1 has guidelines of dotted lines along the helmet, which allows a clean and accurate trim/style.</claim-text> <claim-text>10. The hair-cutting aid helmet of claim 6 and 7 gives straight cut every time used, when adjusted by claims 1, 3 and 4.</claim-text> <claim-text>11. The hair-cutting aid helmet of claim 1 can be collapsible so it is portable and be stored away.</claim-text> <claim-text>12. The hair-cutting aid helmet of claim 11, the pieces are easy to place together.</claim-text> <claim-text>13. The hair-cutting aid helmet of claim 1, guidelines of three rows of dotted lines around ear section to cut out to give a comfortable fit for the helmet.</claim-text>
