* CONTAINER FOR STORING MAKEUP PRODUCT The present invention relates to a container and, more particularly, to a container for storing a makeup (or conditioning) product, such as a lotion, cream, gel, liquid mascara, liquid eyeliner, liquid foundation and the like.
A conventional container comprises a housing having an inner portion provided with a receiving space to receive a makeup (or conditioning) product, such as a lotion, cream, gel, liquid mascara, liquid eyeliner, liquid foundation arid the like, and a top cover detachably mounted on the housing to cover the receiving space of the housing and to cover the makeup product.
However, the makeup product is directly exposed to the ambient environment completely after the top cover is removed from the housing so that the makeup product easily deteriorates during a long-term utilization. In addition, the user has to directly pick up the makeup product from the housing so that the amount of the makeup product taken out of the housing is too much or too little, thereby causing inconvenience to the user. Further, when the makeup product is to be used up, the user cannot easily take out the makeup product attached to the bottom of the housing, thereby wasting the makeup product.
In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a container, comprising a storage unit having an inner portion provided with a receiving chamber, a pressing member movably mounted in the receiving chamber of the storage unit and having a surface provided with an outlet hole connected to the receiving chamber of the storage unit, a sealing member removably mounted on the pressing member and sealing the outlet hole of the pressing member, and a top cover removably mounted on the storage unit and covering the pressing member and the sealing member.
According to the primary advantage of the present invention, when the pressing member is moved downward in the receiving chamber of the storage unit, the makeup product in the receiving chamber of the storage unit is squeezed outward from the outlet hole of the pressing member so that the user only needs to push the pressing member so as to squeeze and use the makeup product easily and quickly.
According to another advantage of the present invention, the pressing member has a shape matching that of the bottom wall of the storage unit so that the pressing member can be moved to abut the bottom wall of the storage unit so as to completely squeeze and use the makeup product in the receiving chamber of the storage unit.
According to a further advantage of the present invention, the plug of the sealing member is inserted into the outlet hole of the pressing member so that the sealing member can seal the outlet hole of the pressing member when the makeup product is not in use.
According to a further advantage of the present invention, after the pressing member is moved to abut the bottom wall of the storage unit when the makeup product is used up, the plug of the sealing member is inserted through the outlet hole of the pressing member into the slot of the storage unit to attach the sealing member to the storage unit so that the container can be reused.
According to a fbrther advantage of the present invention, the sealing member is attached to the pressing member by the connecting strip so that the sealing member will not be detached from the pressing member to prevent the sealing member from being missed.
According to a further advantage of the present invention, the inner case and the outer case of the storage unit are combined integrally by a double-color injection molding process so that the storage unit is made easily and quickly to decrease the costs of fabrication.
Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.
