Abstract
A dog a provided with a primary handle 7 and a secondary safety handle 1. The safety handle can be wrapped around the users arm and secured in place using a slide lock 2 or any other securing means. The safety handle may be permanently or removably attached to the main lead.
Description
Safety Secondary Handle with or for a pet lead This Invention relates to a product that allows the dog or any other pet owners to have an extra handle on the lead as an extra precaution.
The dog owners but not exclusively, are constantly in danger of their dog suddenly charging on and loosing the handle of the lead! chain, consequently losing control of the dog. The safety handle provides an extra protection and it negates the obvious need to turn the lead around your arm, allowing for a more comfortable walk.
However, this product is not necessarily devised just for dogs, or any particular type of dogs: it can be used for any suitable pet, or any type of dog.
The invention will now be described solely by way of example and with reference to accompanying drawings in which: Figure / Drawing 1 shows the Safety Handle for Dog Lead as an integral part of a dog lead unit Figure / Drawing 2 shows the Safety Handle for Dog Lead as an attachment to a pet lead The Safety Handle for Dog Lead is a very simple product, made of plastic, textile, metal or any other material or material combinations.
If the Safety Secondary Handle (1,2,3) is an integral part of the dog lead, drawing 11 the connection means (4) can be permanent or on a detachable basis. The Secondary Handle (1) is secured on the arm by the sliding lock or other means (2).
The Safety Secondary Handle (1,2,3) can be also attached with a Secondary to Primary Lead connection means, to form an extra safety handle to any existing lead of any length, size, girth, colour, pattern, shape or form, Drawing 2.
