Abstract

249,219. Lines, C. H. Dec. 20, 1924. Rollers, sleeves, &c. have their ends radiused by pressing or spreading the corners by means of repeated blows. The rollers then may be hardened and are reduced to the shape shown in Fig. 7, after which they may be ground to the required size.
