Abstract

A coordinated multi-point (CoMP) joint processing transmission is received at a user equipment (UE). The transmission includes signal components from multiple transmission points. The UE evaluates information relating to a propagation delay variation between the different received signal components and, based on the evaluation, determines whether the propagation delay variation is within acceptable limits. The UE may inform a network element of one or more transmission points whose contribution is not within the limits.
