Abstract

A pallet (10) made according to this invention provides a one-piece plastic pallet with integrated full window-frame runners (130) for improved safety, nesting and stackability. The pallet (10) includes a plurality of recessed portions (60) that form angled leg portions (160) below the lower surface (120) of the deck (20). The pallet (10) also includes integrated full window-framed runners (130) in order to accommodate 4-way entry. Each window-framed runner (130) includes an angled leg portion (160) having about the same draft angle as the opposing sidewall (65) of the recessed portion (60). The deck (20) also includes a plurality of channels (30, 50) sized to receive a window-framed runner (130) of a second pallet (10). Each recessed portion (60) also includes a stop (173) to arrest the downward travel of the leg portion (160) of the second pallet (10) and allow for the nested second pallet to be easily removed from the first pallet (10).
