Abstract
A car booster bench comprising up to three booster blocks 1, 2, 3 having interlocking pieces which slide together to make one long bench-like seat. This reduces the space which is lost due to bulky handles which are present on single car booster seats. The booster bench may include spaces for accommodating seatbelts 4, detachable headrests, notches to prevent the blocks from sliding apart and a raised are on the underside to stop the bench sliding on the backseat of a vehicle.

Kids Car Booster Bench -Description 3
Have you tried to fit three standard sized children's car booster seats in the back of a medium sized car? Not an easy task, in fact, it's virtually impossible! Being a busy mum of two small children and always having an extra child with me, whether it's my niece or my children's friends, I struggle to fit them all in the car. I came up with an idea to overcome this problem.
The solution is the Kids Car Booster Bench'. The Bench' would compose of three Booster Blocks' with interlocking pieces which slide neatly together to make one long Bench' like seat. The benefits of having the blocks interlock together means you do not loose space due to bulky handles which are present on single car booster seats, which is what makes it so difficult to fit three standard car booster seats into the back seat of a car safely.
The Kids Car Booster Bench' allows you to accommodate children within the age range of three to twelve years and of varying heights. As the children grow you can quickly and easily remove or add-on a Block' as required. This solution complies with the law that children must have the correct restraint up until their 12th birthday or 135cm in height., or in some countries lSOcm's.
The Kids Car Booster Bench, Page 1 of 4 shows the following: Diagram A Shows The Kids Car Booster Bench which, comprises of three booster blocks, here it shows the Booster Blocks securely locked together by the interlocking system, because the Booster Blocks slide neatly together this creates a smooth secure bench which fits neatly on to the back seat of a car.
No's 1, 2 and 3 show the three Booster Blocks which interlock together to form a bench like seat These blocks can be put together as one Block only, two Blocks together or the three Blocks together depending on the amount of children in the car. The Booster Blocks can be locked securely and easily together within seconds.
No 4 shows a designed area/space, which allows a parent/carer to click in the seatbeltls comfortably without having to move the Booster Blocks or the children.
AA -These are washable padded seat covers which can be taken off easily for washing as they are held in place by Velcro. The covers can easily be pulled off and washed. There is one on each Booster Block. This gives added comfort to the child.
Diagram B This Diagram shows a section on Diagram A, and shows how the Booster Blocks interlock together to form the Kids Booster Bench. As you can see the Booster Blocks lock securely together.
Diagram C This Diagram shows Diagram A when the Booster Blocks have been separate. You can see how the interlocking system works and how the Booster Blocks would lock together securely.
The Kids Car Booster Bench, Page 2 of 4 shows the following: This Drawing shows Diagram A The Kids Car Booster Bench separate into its three Booster Blocks No's 1,2 and 3.
No 6 shows how the two outer Booster Benches No 1 and No 3 would interlock by sliding neatly into Booster Block No 2. The interlocking system works by quite like a jigsaw as the two pieces fit snugly together. See Diagram 2 and Diagram 3 for how the Interlocking system fits together.
No 5 are notches within the Booster Block No2. There is a notch on either side of this Booster Block, which stops the Booster Blocks form sliding apart when the interlocking system is slide together thus creating a secure bench like seat and giving more space for three children to sit in the backseat of a car as there is no space restriction due to the handles which are on present single car booster seats.
The Kids Car Booster Bench, Page 3 of 4 shows the following: Diagram A is showing the under section of the Kids Car Booster Bench.
No's 1, 2 and 3 show again the Three Booster Blocks interlocked together.
No 8 would be a raised area around parts No7 and No9, which would allow the bench to sit comfortably on the backseat of a car to stop it sliding.
Diagram D shows a possible additional add on: A padded head rest, which would replace your normal car head rest -used to support smaller children's head if desired. It would come with a washable cover which would match you Booster Block covers.
The Kids Car Booster Bench, Page 4 of 4 shows the following: Diagram E shows a front view of how the Kids Car Booster Bench would sit on the back seat.
Kds Car Booster Bench Advantaqes The Kids Car Booster Bench allows the parent or carer to t;t three children of different ages into the back seat o a car easily.
Whether it's for a baby & two children or three children between ages of 3-12 years or two children & ore aduft or one child & two adults.
