Abstract
A dual purpose boot and shoe storage and removal leverage device is created from an interrelation of shapes, e.g. spaced-apart upstanding finger like formations, made to a width that allows the ankle of a boot to be gripped securely at the top between two adjacent formations, and for a userâ s other foot to be placed firmly on the bottom of the device allowing a stable stance and leveraged removal of the boot whilst also allowing the storage of upturned boots on the upper shapes.
Description
TITLE
Boot Holder
BACKGROUND
Storage of boots and wellington boots incorporating integral boot removal system
STATEMENT OF INVENTION
Freestanding or mounted device to enable dual purpose of both placing inverted boots onto uprights for storage and drying and using the space between the uprights to hold ankle of boot and enable leverage to remove boot from foot when worn. The relationtionship between the upper shapes and lower shapes allows placement of feet in the lower for stability and upper for leverage, this principle is applied across multiple shapes and configurations.
ADVANTAGES
Dual functionality of boot storage and boot removal leverage aid that can be applied across multible shapes and configurations, freestanding or mounted.
INTRODUCTION TO DRAWINGS
An example of the invention will now be described by referring to the accompanying drawings: Figure I: shows placing inverted boots onto uprights for storage and drying Figure 2: shows placement of foot in the lower shape for stability and ankle of the boot placement in the space between the upper shapes for leverage to remove boot from foot
DETAILED DESCRIPTION
The interrelation of shapes used to create the combined functions are made to a width that allows the ankle of a boot to be gripped securely at the top and for the other foot to be placed firmly on the bottom adjacent loop allowing a stable stance and leverage removal of boot The interrelation of shapes can be applied to accomodate multible freestanding or mounted shape combinations
SPECIFICATION
This invention relates to a device for combining boot storage and boot removal.
The 2 basic needs of a boot wearer exist as a boot rack to store dirty or wet boots upsidedown and boot jack to remove muddy or wet boots without getting hands dirty.
However, whilst existing items work adequetly, the combination of the two fuctions in one module reduces the amount of space required for two seperate items.
The interrelation of shapes used to create the combined functions are made to a width that allows the ankle of a boot to be gripped securely at the top and for the other foot to be placed firmly on the bottom adjacent shape allowing a stable stance and leverage removal of boot.
The same interrelation of shapes allows the storage of boots on the upper shapes.
The interrelation of shapes can be applied to accomodate multible freestanding or mounted shape combinations for use both inside and outside.
The invention will now be described solely by way of example and with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Figure I: shows placing inverted boots onto uprights for storage and drying Figure 2: shows placement of foot in the lower shape for stability and ankle of the boot placement in the space between the upper shapes for leverage to remove boot from foot Dual purpose boot storage and removal leverage device is created from an interrelation of shapes made to a width that allows the ankle of a boot to be gripped securely at the top and for the other foot to be placed firmly on the bottom adjacent shape allowing a stable stance and leverage removal of boot (use fig 2) whilst the same interrelation of shapes allows the storage of boots on the upper shapes (use fig I), applied across multiple shapes and configurations, freestanding or mounted.
