Abstract
A double-ended multicoloured pen has a writing head at both ends. The pen has colour selection means to allow different colours to be used at either end. The colour selection means are located towards the centre of the pen. The pen preferably has eight different colours, four at each end.

1.0 Description
1.1 Background
This device is a redesign of pens that allow you to write with more than one colour option. I make and take notes using a pen that has a four colour option, but I often need other colours, hence the drive to produce a pen with additional colour options in the same package and also frying to maintain roughly the same dimensions as the standard four colour option.
1.2 The design explained, see fig 1.
It basically two pens back to back, allowing you to write using both ends and relocating the colour selectors to centre of the pens body. Each end of the pen will give 4 or more separate colour options 1.3 What problem does it solve? .so * The standard size pen will allow for four colours, usually: red, black, green and blue.
This design will give 8 colours instead of 4 in the same package, albeit that ink levels are sacrificed to accommodate the extra colours. S. ** * .. * . S * **
