Abstract

A removable wedge cushion for a baby to aid it sitting up, and which can be removed to allow the infant to lie flat in the perambulator. The cushion may have a key hole shape to fit around the babyâ s lap and a removable washable cover. The pram wedge may be a latex foam cushion shaped to fit into the majority of prams and enabling an child who is able to support its own head to sit up and look around whilst sitting in its pram.

Description

am We4ge Description-The pram wedge is a latex foam cushion shaped to support a baby allowing it to sit up and look around whilst sitting in its pram.
It is only designed to be used on babies who can support their heads.
The cushion is a shaped like a cube which has been sliced diagonally and then a keyhole shape is cut out in the middle.
The baby is to sit in the middle of the keyhole shape and the cushion is shaped to fit over the baby's legs and support the baby around its lap.

Claims (7)

  1. Claims- 1. Parents are advised to lay babies flat whilst they are sleeping which is why so many parents buy prams. As the baby gets older and becomes more aware, it can become frustrated at not being to see out whilst it is awake. The wedge is designed to be used help sit a baby up whilst it is awake and then can be removed as the baby shows signs of tiredness.
  2. 2. The cushion is designed to support the babies back, without putting pressure on the back of the babies head and therefore helps prevent flat head syndrome.
  3. 3. It allows the babies weight to be evenly distributed.
  4. 4. The cushion is shaped to support the babies back and hold the baby within the cushion.
  5. 5. The cushion is made of latex foam so it can be squashed in to fit the majority of major pram makes, so only one size cushion is needed.
  6. 6. The cushion will help prolong the use of the pram.
  7. 7. The cushion has a removable washable cover.
