Abstract

A drink or beverage can B roll prevention device consisting of an elastic or rubber band C formed with thicker sections forming feet D. The device is used to prevent drink or beverage cans B stored in a refrigerator from rolling, by virtue of the feet D engaging with the floor. This enables several beverage cans B to be stacked one atop the other in a staggered configuration.

CAN ROLL PREVENTLON DEVICE
This invention refers to a device to stop cans rolling when stacked on their side on a shelf particularly in a refrigerator.
In order to prevent cans rolling when stacked on a shelf or in a refrigerator it is normal practice to place heavy objects to the sides of the stack (fig. I item A) to prevent cans (fig. I item B) rolling.
According to the present invention the device is an elastic/rubber band (figure 2 item C) with two larger cross section areas forming "feet" at the appropriate angle as shown infigure2 itemD.
The larger cross section areas are round shape as demonstrated in figure 2 item D. The device fits over the can (figure 3 item B) to the front and rear to inhibit rolling (fig. 3 item C).
This allows easy stacking without the need to use other methods to stop the cans from Rolling.
Cans can then be stacked without the stack collapsing by using a can fitted with the "Roll Prevention Device" at either side of the stack as demonstrated in figure 4.
The pecifw embodiment of this invention will now be described by way of examnie with reference to the accornpanyinIigrn (Fia 21 which shows: The general construction of the "Can roll prevention device" Where: "C" Is and elastic/rubber band.
Are larger cross section areas or "feet" constructed of the same material as the elastic/rUbber band and are of round shape.
