Abstract

The non-filter cigarette comprises a tobacco rod 1 placed in a cigarette paper 2, a plastic holder or segments thereof 4 connected with the tobacco rod by a tipping paper 5, additionally comprising a paper cigarette holder, into which the entire length of the plastic holder is inserted, or into 15 which segments of plastic holder are inserted in both outer thirds. The plastic holder and segments thereof are formed from outer and inner coaxially disposed plastic tubes 6, 7 connected with each other by several distancing radial rigidity ribs, with the relation of the diameter of the opening of the inner tube to the outer diameter of the outer tube being 0.4. The segments may be inserted in a shifted position relative to one another.

Description

Non-Filter Cigarette This invention relates to the cigarette production industry and can be used for manufacturing non-filter cigarettes.

Non-filter cigarettes which comprise a tobacco rod in a cigarette paper are known, such as Camel of JT International,. The disadvantage of such cigarettes is that smoking them can lead to smoker discomfort, in particular, while smoking cigarette particles of tobacco from the rod get into the mouth of the smoker and need to be removed.

Smoking articles comprising a tobacco rod in a cigarette paper and a cigarette holder made of carton or paper with plasticizer are also known (RU patent N2 125822, A24D 1/04). The disadvantage of such smoking articles is the insufficient firmness of the cigarette holder.

Also known are smoking articles comprising a tobacco rod in a cigarette paper connected to a cigarette holder by tipping paper, in which the holder is made of a food polymer material (RU, IIM N224616,A241/04). The disadvantage of these cigarettes is that at the diameter of the opening of the plastic holder -0.38 cm, determined with the chosen relation dfD 0.48, significant resistance to the tobacco particles entering the mouth of a smoker cannot be achieved.

The technical task of the proposed invention is to create a non-filter cigarette, the technical result of which, together with ensuring rigidity of the cigarette holder, minimises ingress of tobacco particles into the mouth of a smoker during smoking and accordingly creates a comfortable smoking condition.

The desired technical result is achieved by a non-filter cigarette comprising a tobacco rod placed in a cigarette paper and a plastic holder connected to the tobacco rod with a tipping paper. The cigarette additionally comprises a paper cigarette holder, into which the entire length of the plastic holder is placed, or into which segments of plastic holder are placed in both outer thirds thereof. The plastic holder or segments thereof are formed from coaxially disposed outer and inner plastic tubes connected to each other by several distancing radial rigidity ribs, with the relation of the diameter of the opening of the inner tube to the outer diameter of the outer tube being 0.4.

The plastic holder serves three functions -lending rigidity to the holder, catching tobacco particles and an aesthetic function. The effect of catching of tobacco particles is enhanced in the second embodiment of the invention, because when plastic segments are inserted into both outer thirds of the paper holder, they are almost always inserted in a turned (shifted) position relative to each other and consequently the area of passage of axial channels around the inner tube is reduced.

The invention is further explained with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Fig. 1 represents the longitudinal section of the non-filter cigarette, in the paper cigarette holder of which is placed the plastic tube; Fig. 2 -shows placement of segments of plastic holder in both outer thirds of the paper cigarette holder; Fig. 3, 4-are resepectively views from the end face of a plastic segment and an isometric image of a plastic segment. The length of the segment is 1/3 of holder length.

The proposed non filter cigarette (Fig. 1) comprises tobacco rod 1 which is placed into cigarette paper 2, cigarette holder 3 into which the entire length of plastic holder 4 is placed, and tipping paper 5.

In the second (Fig. 2) embodiment of the proposed non-filter cigarette the segments of plastic holder 4 are placed in both outer thirds of the paper cigarette holder 3.

Segments of the plastic holder (Fig.3,4) comprise outer 6 and inner 7 plastic tubes, connected with each other by rigidity ribs 8, forming channels 9 around inner tube 7.

The advantage of the proposed cigarette in comparison with the existing one is that the convenience of smoking is increased and the aesthetic image of cigarette is improved.

Claims

A non-filter cigarette comprising a tobacco rod placed in a cigarette paper and a plastic holder connected to the tobacco rod with a tipping paper, characterised in that, the cigarette additionally comprises a paper cigarette holder, into which the entire length of the plastic holder is inserted, or into which segments of plastic holder are inserted in both outer thirds thereof, the plastic holder or segments thereof being formed from coaxially disposed outer and inner plastic tubes connected by several distancing radial rigidity ribs, with the relation of the diameter of the opening of the inner tube to the outer diameter of the outer tube being 0.4.

2. A non-filter cigarette according to claim' 1, in which segments of plastic holder are inserted in both outer thirds of the paper cigarette holder, and the plastic segments are inserted in a turned position relative to each other so that the area of passage of axial channels around the inner tube is reduced.
