Abstract

A fan shaped piece 1 of aluminum which is fixed by a centre pivot 4 and which sits in between the can end and the opening lift pull 3. This additional section will have a raised stud 2 at either side of the fan for ease of use. The fan shaped section will be fixed to enable a swivel motion for covering and uncovering the can opening.

4. WHEN OPENED, GASSES ARE RELEASED THROUGH THE OPENING AND THIS
CLOSURE WILL HELP TO RETAIN THE FLAVOUR AND THE FIZZ WHEN LET
IN THE CLOSED POSITION.
5. THE RAISED STUDS WILL EASE THE OPENING AND CLOSING.
6. BLIND / PARTIALLY SIGHTED PEOPLE WOULD HAVE THE CONFIDENCE THAT NOTHING HAS ENTERED THEIR BEVERAGE.

  1. TITLE: TAPA CAN TOPCLAIMS1. A FAN SHAPED, ADDITIONAL PART OF A BEVERAGE CAN END, MADE OF ALUMINUM, FIXED IN BETWEEN THE CAN END AND THE OPENING LIFT PULL BY A CENTRAL PIVOT, SO AS TO ALLOW A SWIVEL MOVEMENT.
