Abstract

A knife 100 suitable for cutting tape comprises: a body 10 comprising a chamber 12; a mouth 13 communicating with the chamber; a first guide hole 15 communicating with the chamber and passing through one side of the body; a second guide hole 17 communicating with the chamber and passing through one side of the first guide hole; a blade carrier 30 having a first connecting part 31 corresponding to the first guide hole and a second connecting part 32 corresponding to the second guide hole; and a moveable blade 40 provided in the chamber and fixed to the first connecting part so that the blade may be pushed through the mouth by the carrier. A first slider 50 connected to the blade is provided at one side of the body where the first guide hole is formed, and a second slider 60 connected to the blade is provided on the other side of the body where the second guide hole is formed.

Description

TAPE CUTTING KNIFE FOR RIGHT-AND-LEFT HAND OPERATION
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a tape cutting knife for right-and-left hand operation.
2. Description of the Prior Art
In order for users to safely, easily, and quickly unseal packages, in the market, a tape cutting knife is developed and formed with a body. A chamber is concave and formed at a side of the body, and a movable blade is provided in the chamber. Further, a guide hole is formed at a side of the body and communicates with the chamber, and a push flake (button/slider) connected to the movable blade is formed at the outside of guide hole. Thus, when holding the body, the user may push the push flake with the thumb to make the movable blade eject out of the chamber for unsealing the package. Besides, for safety, a spring is connected to and provided on the movable blade so that the movable blade, when not being used, may be elastically limited in the chamber. However, the push flake is formed at only one side of the body, so when the user wants to operate with the other hand, the user cannot easily push the movable blade out of the chamber because the push flake stays at the user's palm side; for example, when holding another object with hand, before operating the tape cutting knife, the user must put down the object, or for the user who is a left handed person, however, the push flake is provided at the right-hand side of the body.
Thus, it is apparent that improvement of the conventional tape cutting knife is necessarily made.
Consequently, because of the technical defects of described above, the applicant keeps on carving unflaggingly through wholehearted experience and research to develop the present invention, which can effectively improve the defects described above.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
A tape cutting knife for right-and-left hand operation according to the present invention mainly comprises a body, a slipper, a movable blade, a first push flake, and a second push flake. A chamber is formed at one side of the body and a mouth is formed on and passes through the surface of side to communicate with the chamber. Next, a guide hole is formed at and passes through one side of the body to communicate with the chamber. Again, a second guide hole is provided at and passes through one side of the first guide hole of the body to communicate with the chamber. The slipper provided slides in the chamber. At the two sides of the slipper, a first connecting part is provided protruding and corresponding to the first guide hole and a second connecting part is provided protruding and corresponding to the second guide hole, respectively. The movable blade is provided in the chamber. A thru hole is formed on the movable blade and is set around and fixed to the first connecting part so that the movable blade may slip with the slipper and may be pushed out of the chamber through the mouth of the body. The first push flake is provided at one side of the body where the first guide hole is formed. A first connecting hole is formed on the first push flake and set around on the first connecting part of the slipper to drive the slipper. The second push flake is provided at one side of the body where the second guide hole is formed. A second connecting hole is formed on the second push flake and set around on the second connecting part of the slipper to drive the slipper. Thus, the user may use the first push flake or the second push flake to make the movable blade eject out of the chamber for the purpose of right-and-left hand operation.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
Now, the present invention will be described more specifically with reference to the following embodiments. It is to be noted that the following descriptions of preferred embodiments of the present invention are presented herein for purpose of illustration and description only; it is not intended to be exhaustive or to be limited to the precise form disclosed.
With reference to figures 1, 2, 3, and 4 respectively as a 3D view, an exploded view, sectional view, and a sectional view seen from the other side that are shown for a preferred embodiment of the present invention, a tape cutting knife for right-and-left hand operation 100 according to the present invention mainly comprises a body 10, a fixed blade 20, a slipper 30, a movable blade 40, a first push flake (button/slider) 50, a second push flake (button/slider) 60, and an elastic part 70.
The body 10 is formed with two housings 11 that are combined together. A chamber 12 is formed at one side of the body 10 and a mouth 13 is formed on and passes through the surface of side to communicate with the chamber 12. Besides, at one side of the body 10 that is opposite to the chamber 12, a long strip of first guide groove 14 is formed. A first guide hole 15 communicating with the chamber 12 further passes through and is formed on a basal plane formed on the first guide groove 14. Further, on the body 10, a long strip of second guide groove 16 that is concave is formed at one side corresponding to the first guide hole 15. A second guide hole 17 communicating with the chamber 12 further passes through and is formed on a basal plane formed on the second guide groove 16. A fixing portion 18 is further formed on the inner wall formed in the chamber 12 of the body 10.
Further, a cut groove 19 is formed at one side opposite to the chamber 12 of the body 10.
The fixed blade 20 is provided in the cut groove 19 of the body 10. The fixed blade 20 is provided with a cutting blade 21. The cutting blade 21 is exposed in the cut groove 19.
At the two sides of the slipper 30 that is provided sliding in the chamber 12, a first connecting part 31 is provided protruding and corresponding to the first guide hole 15 and a second connecting part 32 is provided protruding and corresponding to the second guide hole 17, respectively. Further, two first clamping portions 33 is formed protruding around the first connecting part 31, two second clamping portions 34 is formed protruding around the second connecting part 32, and a mounting hole 35 is formed in the middle.
The movable blade 40 is provided in the chamber 12. Athru hole 41 corresponding to the first connecting part 31 and a via hole 42 corresponding to the first clamping portion 33 are formed on the movable blade 40 so as to be set around on the first connecting part 31 and the first clamping portion 33 for fixing one side of the slipper 30, and thus the movable blade 40 may slip with the slipper 30 to be pushed out of the chamber 12 through the mouth 13 of the body 10. Besides, in the embodiment, a hook 43 is formed at one side of the movable blade 40 that faces towards the mouth 13.
The first push flake 50 is provided at one side of the body 10 where the first guide hole 15 is formed, and is mounted into the first guide groove 14. A first connecting hole 51 correspondingly through which the first connecting part 31 passes and a second connecting hole 52 corresponding to the first clamping portion 33 are formed on the first push flake 50 so as to set around on the first connecting part 31 and the first clamping portion 33 to drive the slipper 30.
The second push flake 60 is provided at one side of the body 10 where the second guide hole 17 is formed, and is mounted into the second guide groove 16. A second connecting hole 61 correspondingly through which the second connecting part 32 passes and a second connecting hole 62 corresponding to the second clamping portion 34 are formed on the second push flake 60 so as to set around on the second connecting part 32 and the second clamping portion 34 to drive the slipper 30.
The elastic part 70 is mounted into the chamber 12 and fixed onto the fixing portion 18 of the body 10. In the embodiment, the elastic part 70 is a torsion spring and is provided with a first elastic portion 71 and a second elastic portion 72. The first elastic portion 71 stays close to the inner wall of chamber 12; the second elastic portion 72 passes through the mounting hole 35 of the slipper 30.
With simultaneous reference to figures 5, 6, and 7 as schematic views illustrating the use and operation of the present invention that are described in the embodiment, to use the tape cutting knife 100, the user is required to only hold the body 10 with a hand, as shown in figure 5, and push the first push flake 50 with the thumb to drive the slipper 30 to move toward the mouth 13 so that the movable blade 40 may be pushed out of the chamber 12 for a cutting work. As shown in figure 7, the slipper 30 arouses the second elastic portion 72 of elastic part 70 to rotate for an angle counterclockwise, and then after the user completes in the operation, the restore elasticity is applied to the slipper 30 to drive the movable blade 40 to slip back to the chamber 12 for achievement of the safety effect and

for preventing the user and other personnel from being injured and the equipment from being damaged. If the user wants to operate the knife 100 with the other hand, at this time, as shown in figure 6, although the first push flake 50 stays at the user's palm side, the user may still push the second push flake 60 to make the movable blade 40 eject out of the chamber 12. Thus, the user may use the first push flake 50 or the second push flake 60 to make the movable blade 40 eject out of the chamber 12 for right-and-left hand operation of the tape cutting knife 100 according to the present invention.
While the invention has been described in terms of what is presently considered to be the most practical and preferred embodiments, it is to be understood that the invention needs not be limited to the disclosed embodiment. On the contrary, it is intended to cover various modifications and similar arrangements included within the spirit and scope of the appended claims which are to be accorded with the broadest interpretation so as to encompass all such modifications and similar structures.

Claims (8)

  1. CLAIMS1. A tape cutting knife for right-and-left hand operation, comprising: a body of which one side is formed with a chamber, in which a mouth communicating with the chamber is formed on the surface of the side, a guide hole communicating with the chamber is formed at and passes through one side of the body, a second guide hole communicating with the chamber is provided at and passes through one side of the first guide hole of the body; a slipper, being provided sliding in the chamber, in which at the two sides of the slipper, a first connecting part is provided protruding and corresponding to the first guide hole and a second connecting part is provided protruding and corresponding to the second guide hole, respectively; a movable blade, being provided in the chamber, in which a thru hole is formed on the movable blade and is set around and fixed to the first connecting part so that the movable blade may slip with the slipper and may be pushed out of the chamber through the mouth of the body; a first push flake (button/slider), being provided at one side of the body where the first guide hole is formed, in which a first connecting hole is formed on the first push (button/slider) and set around on the first connecting part of the slipper to drive the slipper; and a second push flake (button/slider), being provided at one side of the body where the second guide hole is formed, in which a second connecting hole is formed on the second push flake (button/slider) and set around on the second connecting part of the slipper to drive the slipper; the first and second push flakes (buttons/sliders) being thus provided at the two sides of the body for users to use the first push flake (button/slider) or the second push flake (button/slider) to make the movable blade eject out of the chamber for the purpose of right-and-left hand operation.
  2. 2. The tape cutting knife for right-and-left hand operation according to claim 1, wherein at one side of the body that is formed with the first guide hole, a first guide groove is concave formed, the first guide hole is formed on a basal plane formed on the first guide groove, and the first push flake is mounted into the first guide groove, and at one side of the body that is formed with the second guide hole, the second guide hole is further formed on a basal plane formed on the second guide groove, and the second push flake is mounted into the second guide groove.
  3. 3. The tape cutting knife for right-and-left hand operation according to claim 1, wherein a mounting hole is formed on the slipper, a fixing portion is formed protruding on the inner wall formed in the chamber of the body, an elastic part is provided on the fixing portion, the elastic part is provided with a first elastic portion and a second elastic portion, the first elastic part stays close to the inner wall of groove, and the second elastic portion passes through the mounting hole.
  4. 4. The tape cutting knife for right-and-left hand operation according to claim 3, wherein the elastic part is a torsion spring.
  5. 5. The tape cutting knife for right-and-left hand operation according to claim 1, wherein the slipper around the first connecting part is further formed with a plurality of first clamping portions that are protruding, and on the movable blade, a via hole corresponding to the first clamping portion is formed and set around the first clamping portion.
  6. 6. The tape cutting knife for right-and-left hand operation according to claim 1, wherein the slipper around the first connecting part is further formed with a plurality of first clamping portions that are protruding and around the second connecting part is further formed with a plurality of second clamping portions that are protruding, a first connecting hole corresponding to the first clamping portion is formed on the first push flake and set on the first clamping portion, and a second connecting hole corresponding to the second clamping portion is formed on the second push flake and set on the second clamping portion.
  7. 7. The tape cutting knife for right-and-left hand operation according to claim 1, wherein a cut groove is formed at one side opposite to the chamber of the body and a fixed blade is further provided in the cut groove.
  8. 8. The tape cutting knife for right-and-left hand operation according to claim 1, wherein a hook is formed at one side of the movable blade that faces towards the mouth.Amendments to the claims have been filed as follows:CLAIMS1. A tape cutting knife for right-and-left hand operation, comprising: a body of which one side is formed with a chamber, in which a mouth communicating with the chamber is formed on the surface of the side, a guide hole communicating with the chamber is formed at and passes through one side of the body, a second guide hole communicating with the chamber is provided at and passes through one side of the body opposite to the first guide hole; a sliding block, being provided sliding in the chamber, in which at the two sides of the sliding block, a first connecting part is provided protruding and corresponding to the first guide hole and a second connecting part is provided protruding and corresponding to the second guide hole, respectively; a movable blade, being provided in the chamber, in which a thru hole is formed on the movable blade and is set around and fixed to the first connecting part so that the movable blade may slip with the sliding block and may be pushed out of the chamber through the mouth of the body; a first sliding button, being provided at one side of the body where the first guide hole is formed, in which a first connecting hole is formed on the first sliding button *" 20 and set around on the first connecting part of the sliding block to drive the sliding **S.* block; and * S. s** * . a second sliding button, being provided at one side of the body where the second *SS* * guide hole is formed, in which a second connecting hole is formed on the second sliding button and set around on the second connecting part of the sliding block to :. 25 drive the sliding block; * S..S S b S* . the first and second sliding buttons being thus provided at the two sides of the body for users to use the first sliding button or the second sliding button to make the movable blade eject out of the chamber for the purpose of right-and-left hand operation.2. The tape cutting knife for right-and-left hand operation according to claim 1, wherein at one side of the body that is formed with the first guide hole, a first guide groove is concave formed, the first guide hole is formed on the base of the first guide groove, and the first sliding button is mounted into the first guide groove, and at one side of the body that is formed with the second guide hole, the second guide hole is further formed on the base of the second guide groove, and the second sliding button is mounted into the second guide groove.3. The tape cutting knife for right-and-left hand operation according to claim 1, wherein a mounting hole is formed on the sliding block, a fixing portion is formed protruding on an inner wall formed in the chamber of the body, an elastic part is provided on the fixing portion, the elastic part is provided with a first elastic portion and a second elastic portion, the first elastic part stays close to the inner wall of chamber, and the second elastic portion passes through the mounting hole.4. The tape cutting knife for right-and-left hand operation according to claim 3, wherein the elastic part is a torsion spring.5. The tape cutting knife for right-and-left hand operation according to claim 1, wherein the sliding block around the first connecting part is further formed with a plurality of first clamping portions that are protruding, and on the movable blade, a via hole corresponding to the first clamping portion is formed and set around the first clamping portion. **.. **S.6.
