Abstract

A dome shaped foot attachment for an amphibious vehicle that allows the vehicle to move on sand. The dome shaped attachment is formed from rubber and can expand and stretch as weight is applied to it. There is also disclosed a thin sheet of metal (5, fig 1) and a pliable fin (6, fig 1) as an attachment which are of use when the vehicle is in water.

Description

Attachments for versatile self propelled vehicle THE MACHINE IS PLACED, AND ATTACHED TO, A FLOATABLE RAFT.
A THIN SHEET OF WOOD OR METAL OR OTHER MATERIAL IS ATTACHED AT
RIGHT ANGLES AT THE REAR (SHEET e).
A FURTHER SHEET IS ATTACHED ABOUT 1/2 WAY DOWN SHEET e', THIS SHEET IS IN THE NATURE OF A FIN AND IS VERY FLYABLE.
SHEET 3' IS BENT IN A CURVE TO FACILATATE MOVEMENT IN LIQUID (WATER USUALLY) THE RAFT IS USUALLY FITTED WITH 2 LONG SIMPLE LEGS AT THE FRONT WHEN THE MACHINE IS ON IT MOVES FORWARD ON THE WATER.
ON LAND THIS VEHICLE TEND TO MOVE BACKWARD -TOWARDS THE
LOWER END IN RELATION TO THE SURFACE IT IS ON.
TAKING INTO ACCOUNT TERRAIN-TYPE AND ANGLE OF LEGS AND FEET AND
WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION, MOMENTUM ADDS TO ITS EFFICIENCY.
THE VEHICLE CAN MOVE ON LAND AND WATER MAKING IT AMPHIBIOUS.
THE ATTACHMENT FOR USE ON SAND TYPE TERRAIN IS DOME SHAPE.
ANOTHER ATTACHMENT FOR SAND IS ONE BASED ON CAMEL' FEET I.E.
RUBBER SECTION THAT EXPANDS/STRETCHES WHEN WEIGHT IS PUT ON IT.
OTHER FEET ATTACHMENTS ARE SPIKE AND SLED
BOTH NOT PATENTABE
