Abstract

An inner tubular ring 1 connected to an outer circular section 2 which runs three quarters of a circle around the inner tubular ring which may be made from any type of plastic or aluminium material. The device is intended for curtains that have fabric tab tops made of a double layer of fabric. The tab insertion section of the Curtain tab ring is to be inserted into the fabric tab via an opening made on the inside of the tab. The insertion section of the curtain tab ring will secure the device. The Curtain tab ring will make the tabs of the curtain slide easily on the curtain pole due to low friction between the curtain tab rings and the pole.

Description

Title; Curtain Tab Ring

Background;

This invention relates to a new device designed specifically for Tab-top curtains with a facility to ease the movement of the curtain on the pole. The Curtain Tab Ring is a new style of curtain ring with an extension to be inserted into the curtain tab.

Statement of invention;

The Curtain Tab Ring innovation is designed to enable the user to slide the curtain easily whilst on the pole, without this ring the tab top curtains are difficult to slide open and close.

Advantages; Tab-top curtains have tabs that are made from fabric which, when hung directly onto the curtain pole, tend to stick due to friction, thus making the curtain difficult to slide open or close. The Curtain Tab Ring innovation is a solution for this problem as the curtain tab ring will house the curtain tab and hence will allow easy movement of the curtain on the curtain pole with little friction. Curtain designers will have the option to create unlimited styles of tab top curtains that incorporate the Curtain Tab Ring.

The device is intended for curtains that have fabric tab tops made of a double layer of fabric. The intent is for the tab insertion section of the Curtain Tab Ring to be inserted into the fabric tab via an opening made on the inside of the tab. 1. Claims; 1-A curtain tab ring comprising a tubular ring joined at one position to an outer circular section running three quarters of a circle around the inner tubular ring.

   2-A curtain tab ring as claimed in claim 1 which is made from any type of plastic or aluminium material.
