Description

S
PERIODONTAL CARE APPLIANCE
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to a phototherapy appliance for caring periodontal health, and more particularly to a periodontal care appliance capable of increasing periodontal temperature, facilitating blood circulation, and further inhibiting bacteria.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002J Phototherapy involves irradiating a specific tissue with different wavelength light. The light with a specific wavelength can stimulate metabolism of cells and tissues of a body, thereby achieving a care and cure function. For example, clinical trials confirm that the light with a specific wavelength can stimulate hyperplasia of fibroblasts and generation of collagen. For another example, clinical trials also confirm that the light with a specific wavelength can stop a specific photochemical reaction of bacteria so as to achieve a bactericidal effect. For still another example, clinical trials confirm that the light with some specific wavelength can facilitating drug absorption and anti-inflammatory.
10003] A periodontal tissue generally includes teeth and gingival tissues. Periodontal pathological changes and bacterial infection will cause periodontal diseases, thereby loosening the bases of the teeth. The loose teeth can not be chew food. Thus, the periodontal diseases will severely bother the patients, even thereby causing a lot of harm that can not be recuperated.
[0004] Therefore, what is needed is a periodontal care appliance to overcome the above disadvantages. Doctors can use the periodontal care appliance to treat the patients. The patients can use the periodontal care appliance to recovery their periodontal tissues. And the common users can use the periodontal care appliance to care their periodontal tissues to prevent the periodontal diseases.
