Abstract

A kit comprising a ostomy tube 3, preferably for percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG), and a retaining belt 1 to hold the tube flat while not in use. The retaining belt 1 comprises an integral pouch or pocket 2 on its inner surface which in use holds the external end of the ostomy device 3. The ostomy device 3 does not pass through the belt 1 and remains on the interior surface. The pouch 2 may have a flap 4, which can be secured in a closed position by press fasteners 5a,5b.
