Abstract
An item of jewellery that can be accessorized with interchangeable charms comprises a pendant body including holes to receive the interchangeable charms which may be in the form of studs, particularly single earring studs. A clasp d and a bar c at the back of the pendant may be included to receive additional charms or other items of jewelry as may openings j to attach the pendant to a necklace chain. The pendant preferable has a 3 dimensional form and may be in the shape of a heart, flower or star.
Description
DESCRIPTION
This is an item of jewellery that can be accessorized. It is a vehicle to display them, to attach earrings, pins and clasped charms. It has a 3D design to allow the wearer to attach studs, pins, earrings, or other small pendants.
BACKGROUND
The object of this invention is to use singular earrings and charms as accessorizes to this pendant. Having lost many singular earrings it solves the problem of still being able to wear them again, in a different form as part of another piece of jeweUry.
The outline of this invention is to customize a piece of jewellry. The ability to change the appearance when ever one likes. To add studs to the centre, to hang a clasped charm or singular earring from the base or to hang a singular earring at the clasp at the back. The priniciples are so simple the possibilites are endless.
You take the back off the stud or pin, and push it through the drilled holes in the pendant[aJ.
Then replace the back on the earring or pin. You clip a clipped charm to the base of the pendant on the small bar at the base[e&fJ.
You can attach a long earring to the clasp at the back of the pendant[dl allowing it to dangle below, or simply add an earring to the base[e&f].
This pendant allows you wear your now to wear your once useless one earring and creating a unique piece of jewellry.
Therefore the object of this invention is to provide an interchangeable jewellry piece, which can allow the wearer to create their own pendant, with other items of jewetlry.
This creates a new use for "earrings".
DRAWINGS I to 4 of Pendant to customize Drawing I This is the item of jeweliry as from the front [a] is the drilled holes through the pendant to place studs or pins, securing them at the back with the earring or pin pack.The number of holes can be random or in a shape, heart or letter.
[b] this is the solid of the pendant to give it form, it can be made in metal, plastic, wood or glass. The "bubble" effect is irs important feature.
Drawing 2 This is the pendant from the back.
[a]is the drilled holes to attach earring studs.
[J] are 2 holes for a chain to be passed through to wear as a pendant.
[ci is a v bar across pendant, connecting both sides.
(d]is a clasp to attach earring or small pendant.
[e] is another small bar linking both sides of the pendant.
(fJ is a hole created by (e] to attach clasped charm.
[g]is the channel through which the pendant earring can sit.
Drawing 3 This the cross section of the pendant To show the concave shape to utilize the space inside the pendant to attach earrings (aJ are the drilled holes (hi shows the pendant is not flat but concave.
[b] is the solid of the pendant The shape is not important, any design will work as long as it is 3D.
Drawing4 This shows the pendant from the side [a] are the drilled holes to attach earrings [j] are the holes to attach a necklace through being on 2 sides of the pendant.
Again showing the raised ellement of the pendant which is important for the studs and earrings to be placed.
