Abstract
A forked weeding tool comprises a shaft11handle12and a forked end10. The end of the handle distal from the forked end is roundedly convex so that the tool can be held by the handle and struck by a user. The forked end has two prongs which may each narrow to a point distal from the shaft. The angle between the prongs may be between 46 and 60°. The shaft may be made of a non ferrous, ceramic or steel material which is narrower at a point where ioins the forked end than it is where the shaft connects to the handle. The handle may have moulded ridges thereon.
