Abstract

A fixed and adjustable back massager means includes a circular pole 3 which is vertically and securely fixed to the wall by wall mounting brackets 1 and 2. The adjustable back massaging element 4 can slide over the fixed circular pole 3 by loosening and tightening butterfly screws 5 and 6 as and when required, enabling the element 4 to move up and down the tubular pole 3 (see figs 2 and 3). The massaging element is also provided with gently downwardly curved hooks which, together with user movement, provide the massaging action. The device may be made of chrome, steel, brass or hard plastic, and may be permanently or non-permanently fixed to the wall.

Description

I
Back Massager This invention relates to a novel and practical device that will provide certain relief and a solution for individuals within an existing and continually expanding market concerning self-massage therapy and complimentary medicine.
When individuals, of various ages, strengths and abilities together with other personal circumstances and capabilities feel the need for a back massage they may be restricted from obtaining and satisf'ing this requirement. Such reasons would include various times, ages and heights together with previously and personally mentioned capabilities would contribute to increasing frustration and possibly lead to further and other long-term frustrations within families and business.
However, the provision of a device such as the f a b, the fixed and adjustable back massager, would provide the opportunity for many sufferers with relief, together with gentle exercise for a moderate financial investment. The fa b whilst being fixed and / or adjustable has particularly good strength and appearance with personal health and safety taken into consideration. Furthermore, the fa b, once fixed can be easily adjusted for specific individual height requirements and provide a pleasurable back massage for clientele. Also the f a b enhances and is intended to belong to the f a b range of related products made available for providing complete relaxation.
The fixed and adjustable back massager is a quality product with the following materials presently considered in manufacture -brass, chrome, and other (steel, hard plastic). The fab once established and put into place, will be easy and pleasurable to maintain by its user.
The f a b and associated range of goods are intended to provide economic, efficient and effective scope and depth towards gifts and awareness whilst broadening and highlighting future attitudes for its producers and users. Also, the f a b and associated range could further widen and expand whilst becoming easily recyclable contributing towards a positive attitude and appreciation in expanding future planetary understanding.
The fa b, fixed and adjustable back massager, may be positioned and made accessible from within various rooms particularly those frequently used and occupied to include bathrooms, bedrooms etc and other such rooms like exercise providing gyms and those such as community supplied and personally maintained etc. It is intended that the f a b will continually and remain to be of added -value to its clients.
Further detail and references towards the f a b will now be given to support various activities in context of those previously mentioned and the claims and abstract that are provided later.
Figure 1 shows the fixed and adjustable back massager vertically mounted to a wall in the primary central position, Figure 2 shows the same device but which has been adjusted to a lower position, Figure 3 shows once again the same device but which has been adjusted to a higher position.
Figure 4 shows the full front view (for information only) of the primary product name "the fa b" through which the f a b is expected to be future widely promoted and distributed by the appropriate manufacturer.
In figure 1, the fixed and adjustable back massager has originally been mounted to a wall in a central position. It has been fixed securely via wall mounting brackets 1 and 2. The circular pole 3 would remain fixed at all times. However, the adjustable and back massager unit 4 could be lowered or highered by means of adjusting the butterfly-screws 5 and 6 as and when required by the client.
In figure 2, the same fixed and adjustable back massager as previous is shown but has been lowered as required due to its client's particular circumstances and needs in this instance.
In figure 3, once again the same fixed and adjustable back massager as previous is shown but has been raised to its maximum height as required due to the client's particular circumstances in this instance.
At all times it is worth noting that the fa b i.e. the fixed and adjustable back massager element 4, will be providing relief through gently downward curved hooks together with movement and exercise by the client.
In figure 4, a full front view (for information only) of the product name "the f a b" is shown to which the fixed and adjustable back massager device belongs, characterises and distinguishes.
Preliminary Market Research As the fixed and adjustable back massager is a new invention which maybe particularly unique to a specific market it was decided to undertake some risk assurance activity prior to any further production and manufacture. Electronic databases and many websites were examined for similar back massagers within the UK, EU, US and many others.
Examination was undertaken of only comparative and relevant items and included the following, prior to any further patent application:-Search Title: Dbase Vol: Actual: back massage, 24,300,000 0 the fa b, 4,940,000 0 the fa b range, 549,000 0 fixed and adjustable back massager, 13,200 0 It is believed and hoped that an appropriately successful interested producer and related manufacturer could be found to undertake the fa b on the support and assistance of the information provided.
