Abstract

A fascia, fascia cover or facing member 5a adapted to be received on a part of a cabinet or unit, comprises a face portion 15a adapted to cover at least a portion of a face of the part, and at least one means for securing the face portion of the member to the face of the part, wherein the means for securing comprises at least one securing member extending from the face portion, preferably in the form of foldable fixing tabs 25a that extend from a side portion 20a of the fascia and which can be bent over a rear face of the item being covered. The fascia, fascia cover or facing member 5a may be used to cover and reface a drawer front [ 10, Figure 1(b)] , a door or an externally facing panel of the cabinet or unit. The fascia member 5a is preferably formed from a folded blank of stamped material, with side portions 20a and the face portion 15forming a cuboid into which a door or drawer front may be fitted and then secured using tabs 25a. A method of covering a unit with the fascia member is also disclosed.
