Abstract

A toilet plunger with splash guard arrangement comprises a plunger featuring a flat rubber head 3 and a handle 1. The splash guard comprises a flexible mat 5 characterised by a handle portion 2 through which the plunger may be independently attached to the splash guard. The flexible mat of the splash guard folds upwardly to allow the plunger and splash guard to be stowed away in a cylindrical holder (8, Fig 4).

Description

Anti Splash Mat, Toilet Un-Blocker Title Anti Splash Mat, Toilet Un-Blocker
Example
A plunger that un-blocks toilets with a Anti Splash Mat that keeps the water in the toilet.
Background
This invention relates to a toilet un-blocker.
When the toilet gets blocked with soiled water and paper, the paper compresses into the bowl of the toilet, which pushes the water from the blockage causing a tight wad of compressed tissue, which is unable to move. Previous plungers do not bend and fit to the shape of the toilet, causing not enough vacuum suction to release the blockage.
When conventional plungers are plunged into the blocked soiled water and paper there is nowhere for the pressure to go but past the plunger, projecting the soiled water and paper out of the toilet spreading harmful bacteria on surrounding areas, i.e. the skin which can become an irritant even result in skin disorder.
Statement of Invention
To over come this, The Anti Splash Mat Toilet Un-blocker has a flat flexible end so when plunged into the bowl causes a vacuum suction, drawing the water through the soiled paper loosening the compressed blockage allowing the water to take the soiled paper away. The Anti Splash Mat is a flat pack flexible mat and handle, which sits down onto the bowl of the toilet, so when the toilet is plunged, the projectile paper and water stays within the bowl. Which means no air born bacteria is released also no spread of harmful bacteria on surrounding surfaces or to any person.
Advantages The Anti Splash Mat Toilet Un-Blocker with its flat flexible plunger will ensure that the toilet is unblocked quickly and easily.
The Anti Splash Mat will ensure that the soiled water and paper stay in the toilet.
The Anti Splash Mat will be flexible so that the mat can fold up and can be packed away into a holder, no greater than the diameter of the plunger end.
The advantages of the Anti Splash Mat Toilet Un-Blocker being flat pack, it will fit into a cylinder holder that would resemble your toilet brush holder.
Description Figure 1
Figure 1 shows a toilet in its blocked state, and where the blockage resides.

Description figure 2
Figure 2 show the problems of using a conventional plunger (2). When the plunger is forced into the bowl of the toilet, the soiled water(3) passes the head of the plunger(2)(S) and is projected out of the toilet onto the surrounding areas(4), which causes spread of bacteria. Also, if the soiled water becomes in contact with eyes and skin it can become an irritant and even infectious.

Description figure 3
Figure 3 shows how the plunger (3) when forced into the bowl of the toilet, flexes to the shape of the neck, causing sufficient suction to mix the soiled paper with water to release the blockage compacted in to the neck. The weight of the water built up in the bowl then pushes the blockage clear (4).

Description of the Anti Splash Mat figure 3
The Anti Splash Mat in Figure 3, (2, 5) is to prevent soiled water and paper projecting out of the toilet bowl. The Anti Splash Mat (2, 5) slides up and down the shaft of the plunger (1) so the plunger moves independently to the Anti Splash Mat. Insuring the Anti Splash Mat is tight to the toilet bowl when plunging the blockage.

Description of plunger holder figure 4
Figure 4 shows the holder in which the plunger and Anti Splash Mat will be stowed away in. When the plunger has been finished with, it will fold away into the holder, until it is used again. Then the lid, figure 4 (2) slides down over the plunger handle, figure 4(1) Claim

Claims (4)

1. Then Anti Splash Mat toilet Un-Blocker has a flat-ended flexible plunger, which fits the bowl of the toilet, causing sufficient vacuum suction to un-block a toilet.
2. The Anti Splash Mat is a flexible mat and handle, which is independently attached to the plunger.
3. The Anti Splash Mat prevents any projected paper or water leaving the toilet bowl.
4. The Anti Splash Mat according to claim 2, is flexible so that it folds up and packs away into a holder.
