Abstract

A device to facilitate the reuse of carrier and like bags comprises one or more, and preferably seven, spherical bubble-like storage compartments 7, each of which is sized to receive a pair of carrier or like bags 14. Each bubble-like storage compartment has a circular hole in the centre to extract the plastic carrier bag. In an alternative embodiment, the device may be adapted to be used as a handbag or a beach bag with zipped compartments for individual handbag items. The handle is a series of smaller bubbles joined together in an arch. Each bubble is able to house an individual handbag item making it easier to find specific items. If a spill occurs in a bubble, it does not contaminate the contents of the other bubbles of the handbag.

Description

Bag in a Bubble (Bubble bag)
Description
This invention relates to a multiple bag carrier.
A bubble in a bag hung on the supermarket trolley hook, which alleviates the need for carrier bags filling the body of the shopping trolley.
The device stores up to 14 carrier bags. The shopper retrieves a bag when required by pulling a bag from a bubble.
This product is eco-friendly and is aimed at shoppers re-using their carrier bags by refilling the product to use on another occasion. It is a systematic and effective storage device for carrier bags of any size, colour, make or material.
The bag in a bubble concept is also able to be adapted for other purposes. A hand bag with zipped bubbles used to store individual make-up items. The purpose is to allow handbag items to be found quickly and effectively without rooting in your bag for each item individually. The second aim is that if your lip stick or foundation etc leaks or spills, then the spill is contained within the individual bubble and does not contaminate the rest of the handbag contents.
The invention could also be adapted to be used as a beach bag using the bubbles to store sun tan cream, goggles etc. The product can either be split into two half sphere portions or remain as single spheres, either moulded together or attached by a linking system. Claims (5)

  1. Claims 1. A multiple plastic bag carrier using the concept of a bubble (sphere) to house plastic carrier bags.
  2. 2. The invention comprises of seven bubbles (more bubbles could be added or subtracted). Each bubble stores approximately two plastic carrier bags, therefore the full invention holds up to fourteen plastic carrier bags.
  3. 3. Each bubble has a circular hole at the centre from which you extract the plastic carrier bags.
  4. 4. The invention can be adapted to suit other purposes. For instance, a handbag using zipped bubbles to house separate handbag items. This design would enable handbag items to be found effectively and quickly. If an item spilt, the contents would be contained within an individual bubble and not contaminate the entire Handbag and other items. The invention could make a useful beach bag.AMENDMENTS TO THE CLAIMS HAVE BEEN FILED AS FOLLOWSBag in a Bubble (Bubble bag) Claims 1.
