Abstract

A frame is disclosed which displays and holds trading cards. A series of individual card holders are provided on the frame into which individual windows maybe clipped. Each individual window has tabs (Fig.3) which align to slots (Fig-4) on the corresponding part of the card holder on the frame to hold a trading card in position. The window can be removed by pushing the window from the rear of the frame. The central display area of the frame may house either an acrylic mirror or alternative display. The device has a wall mounting option (Fig.6) which houses a wall hanging device.

Description

DESCRIPTION:
TRADING CARD DISPLAY FRAME
This invention relates to a display device with wall-mounting option to exhibit but not limited to individual trading cards. The trading cards or other display items are housed behind removable individual plastic windows which surround a central display housing either an acrylic mirror or alternative display with plastic window option.
The drawing in figure 1 displays an example of how the frame with trading cards inserted and an acrylic mirror as central display could appear.
The function of the trading card display frame is to display trading cards or display items which can be alternated or rearranged as required. The removable individual windows allow the versatility to access and alternate trading cards or display items as and when required.
Figure 2 shows the basic frame with an example of one of the individual windows which clip in and out of place by pushing gently from the rear of the frame.
The device consists of a frame comprising of individual card holders into which removable individual windows clip in and out of place allowing trading cards or display items to be interchanged.
Alternatively trading cards can also be slotted in from the rear of the frame via a cavity without the need to remove the corresponding window.
Figure 3 shows the clips on the individual window and figure 4 shows the corresponding slots on the individual card holders.
The individual holders in conjunction with the windows are designed to nest the trading card or display item in place to retain their original form and prevent curling or damage whilst housed in the display frame.
The central display area is to house either an acrylic mirror or an alternative display with the option to house the alternative display behind a plastic window.
Figure 5 shows the acrylic mirror option being displayed in the centre of the frame.
The trading card display frame can be wall mounted via the slot incorporated on the rear of the frame.

Claims (11)

  1. CLAIMS:TRADING CARD DISPLAY FRAME1. The device is for displaying trading cards or alternative display items and produced out of a material such as wood, plastic or other materials.
  2. 2. The individual holders in conjunction with the windows are designed to nest the trading cards or display items in place to retain their original form and prevent curling or damage whilst housed in the display frame
  3. 3. The device consists of individual card holders each with its own individual plastic window surrounding a central display.
  4. 4. The individual card holders have cavities which allow trading cards to be inserted from the rear without the need to remove the individual window.
  5. 5. The cavity also enables the individual windows to be removed by gently pushing them from the rear of the frame.
  6. 6. Each individual window has clips which correspond to slots on the individual card holder on the main frame.
  7. 7. The individual windows are designed to clip in to and out of the main frame to allow access to the trading cards or alternative display and to enable the trading cards or displayed items to be alternated as required.
  8. 8. The individual windows are removed by pushing them gently from the rear of the frame.
  9. 9. The center of the device houses either an acrylic mirror or alternative display with the option of the item displayed being housed behind a larger version of the window as described in claim 6.
  10. 10. The center of the device also has cavities which allow the central display window option to be removed by gently pushing them from the rear of the frame.
  11. 11. The device has a wall mount option.
