Abstract

A revolving frame caries two or more gyroscopes, and it is claimed that a combination of gyroscope forces GF and centrifugal force CF will produce a resultant force that may be used to power intercontinental or interplanetary travel.

Description

CYPARDON 2 1 Short title.
This invention provides propulsion without the use of rockets. jets, propellers or any of the conventional systems. It will greatly reduce pollution and noise.
Description.
1 A revolving frame carries several spinning gyros. These gyros develop a resultant force which is vertical to the plane of the frame.
Using the well established Vector Cross Product formulae, the gyros supply one vector, the centrifugal force due to the turntable spin, supplies the second vector, while the sine of the angle between these two vectors will provide the third item required by the formula.
Newton's Law demands a reaction to this new force! The reaction will be absorbed by the rotating machines where it will appear as a negative feedback resulting in a demand for more power from the supply.
2. The simplest machine has two balanced gyros but multiple gyros arranged in tiers with a virtual centre will satisfij the demand for more powerful machines.
3. Electric motors have been used for the earlier experiments but other drives may be employed 4. the initial charge for the cells may be from local suppliers, in space, solar cells can be used while the sun is visible! 5. The efficiency of the Cypardon machine can best be estimated by considering just the losses, Air and electrical resistance, hysterises, windage and external air friction.
6.. The vehicle can operate in any environment since it does not depend on external factors such as air or water.
7. The use of metals is not limited to the lighter varieties, so the fire hazard is reducecL 8. Inter-continental and inter-planetary travel will be possible-travelling with accelerations of one, two,, or even greater values of g' will give great velocities and distances, bye reverse thrust, the landings can be very soft 9. Rulers' Dynamic Equations also prove the validity oft/ifs theory.
1 O.This invention will now be described solely by way of example and with reference to the accompanying drawings as per the list.

The Vector Cross Product Eulers' Dynamic Equations.
  3. 3. Both of these Laws relate to rotating masses and prove that two vectors meeting at a point when multiplied, together with the sine of the angle between them, will generate a vector that is perpendicular to the plane of the vectors.
  4. 4. Any reactions as per Newton's Law will appear as negative feedback to the prime movers, electric motors who will demand more power from the source.
  5. 5. Several engines can be used for lift and steering, but they are also capable of being inter-changed 6. The original gyros were electrical but other drives will be possible.7. The gyro shafts have to stand up to severe fatigue.8. many gyros can be assembled on the perimeter of the frame to give a free central area for freight and personnel.9. The engine is very quiet, efficient, and so, has very low carbon emission.1.O.The engine can operate in any environment and travel at very high speeds.11. 9. 9. It will operate in any environment.
  10. 10. It can even be submerged in water.1 I. it can have hospitals. etc on board.12. It leaves no vapour trails or contrails.13. It could he made radar proof.14. The outer skin could be puncture-proof 15. Tiered machines could lift very heavy loads.16, The top deck could open up for satellite repairs.1 7. It has little heat attraction.18. it can approach caves and rocky ledges, safely.19. A thousand troops could be deployed in minutes, using aircraft styled chutes.20. Small units can act as remote investigators with remote control.21. Even broomstick' warriors may be developed.
