Abstract
A device 7 for the distribution of home entertainment eg television 4, DVD 2, radio, signals from a central hub to remote locations within a home. The distribution is via a wireless protocol. The remote locations have devices with receivers to receive the signals transmitted from the hub. Devices may be connected to the hub using standard audio/visual cable connections.

RASH BOX
This invention relates to a device for allowing people to watch their entertainment systems in another room, with out moving the system. It also stops the hassle of wires in the home. This invention also connects other entertainment devices.
When people are needing to move or their systems or have no room for the wires in that particular room. The uses of having multiple entertainment systems in one room could cause injury and could make the room look untidy to some people. It also a health and safety risk if these entertainment systems are moved about constantly, or even for one day use in another room eople may want to move their entertainment systems just for one day e.g. if their children would like the DVD Player to work in their room just for one movie). To solve this problem I have come this problem I have come up with the invention called the HASH BOX, this box allows people to watch entertainment systems in one room with out the entertainment systems needing to be plugged into the television.
This is due to the box being linked with the entertainment systems which then WI-Fl is used to link the box to a receiver plugged into the multiple televisions around the home.
By doing this it brings an image and a sound through to the other televisions around the home. The HASH BOX will contain a range of controllers which are used to operate the entertainment systems through the receiver plugged into the televisions. Smaller entertainment systems are also able to be linked. The HASH BOX contains Bluetooth as well as WI-Fl.
This invention also links other devices such as wireless internet, phones (which can be used as video conferencing), MP3 and MP4 players, which then can be played on the television using the remote provided.
For Figures 1 and 2 The entertainment systems 2, 3 and 4 (other systems may be compatible with this machine, these are some examples) are plugged into the sockets 7 as usual, they are then linked to the HASH BOX 5. An image and sound is then sent through the HASH BOX 5 which then sends this information across to the other televisions around the home (using a receiver 9 on the other end) 1, 1 and 1. Due to this people are able to watch the same type of entertainment but in different rooms or are able to watch the entertainment but in a different place of the home with out moving the systems.
The wires which link the HASH BOX and the entertainment systems to one another consists of one end containing a scart plug (this end would be attached to the HASH BOX 5 and one end to the entertainment system), and the other containing audio jack connectors (these ends would be connected to the entertainment systems to give the HASH BOX 5 a sound).
For Figure 3 To connect to the HASH BOX 5, there is a certain cable which would need to be linked to the entertainment systems (used in this example is the DVD Player 2). The scart lead 8 would be connected to the HASH BOX 5 which is then linked to the DVD Player 2; this is to able the HASH BOX 5 to receive an image which then can be received by other televisions 1 around the home. The HASH BOX 5 and the entertainment system would then need to be linked to the Composites Video Jacks (CVBS) ii in the back of the systems for the HASH BOX 5 to receive sound to be sent around the home to other televisions 1.
Once this is connected the HASH BOX 5 and the chosen entertainment system has been connected then the HASH BOX 5 would send an image and a sound to the receiver 9 which are plugged into other televisions around the home.
For Figure 4 Each HASH BOX 5 will be equipped with different remotes 12 with different frequencies; this is to stop interference with other televisions around the home. The remote would then be connected to the receiver 9 which then links to the HASH BOX 5 in the other room. This allows the consumer to change channel, skip scene, and press enter etc without interference. (The HASH BOX 5 is not able to operate other channels on the same entertainment systems). The remote also contains letters underneath the numbers; this is explained in more detail below.
For Figure 5 The HASH BOX 5 contains four USB slots 15 which allow other media players to be put in large screen on the television 1 chosen. For example if a MP3 player 13 was connected then, the HASH BOX 5 would send an image and a sound to the television which allows the consumer to play their music on a large screen. This is also the same with the computer hard drive 16, although this would need to be connected with a USB lead 14.
Every entertainment system would be controlled through one remote 12. The computer would also be controlled by the remote 12 due to it containing letters underneath the remotes 12 numbers. E.g. number two containing the letters A, B and C. For Figure 6 The HASH BOX S would be connected by WI-Fl to the nearest WI-Fl box 17 in the home, the HASH BOX 5 then sends an image and a sound through to the television I which then allows people to use the internet through the HASH BOX 1 on their own television 1.
For Figure 7 The HASH BOX is also able to link mobile phones 18; this is because of it containing Bluetooth. The phone is linked normally through Bluetooth (just like connecting to another phone, but the phone would receive the name HASH BOX). When connected the phone will send an image and sound to the HASH BOX 5, which would then send this information to the television I. The phone would be able to send messages and have video and normal phone calls through the television.
