Abstract
A cablespike elevates Hi-fi speaker cables, interconnects and power cables off the floor and thus reduce the effects caused by vibrations in the room or from surrounding areas. The cablespike is not self supporting, but when joined to a cable, maintains elevation of the cable off the floor. The number of cablespikes required is dependent on the flexibility of the cable carried. There is a minimal contact with the floor and the elevation assists with surface cleaning under the cable.
Description
DescriptiOn
CableSpike is designed to elevate Hi-fl Speaker Cables, Interconnects and Power Cords off the floor and thus reduce the effects caused by vibrations in the room or from surrounding areas. CableSpike is uniquely symbiotic' with the cable it carries as it is not self-supporting yet works with the cables to provide the elevation off the surface. The CableSpike can be adapted to support any cable for any purpose.
CableSpike is made from many rigid or semi-rigid materials of varying thickness and in any colour available. CableSpike is high enough arid wide enough to support any type of cable. The top channel supports a large number of flat or ribbon cables. Midway in this channel is a half circle shape, which can be variable in size, to accommodate rounder cables. The sides of the CableSpike variable to create to create a V shape. These angled sides enable the stretching securing band to have sufficient grip, yet not to put undue stress on the cable being carried. It is simple to install and adjust. The stretching securing band is made from any flexible material for example proprietary neoprene rubber band in any colour (UK No. 63 or similar). The securing band is stretched over the cable to keep the CableSpike and the cable as one. The thickness of the CableSpike is to suit the particular application.
