Abstract
The concerns a medical device in the form of a slipper of sock-style foot cover used to help care providers put anti-embolism/elastic/compression stockings on patients more easily. Each foot cover is made of polythene and is oval-shaped with a top and a bottom which are sealed together partially, leaving a short flap at the top. To use, the cover is placed atop a patient's foot, the stocking is pulled over the cover and up the patient's leg. Once the stocking is positioned correctly, the foot cover is removed through the hole in the compression stocking and discarded. The foot cover may be produced in different sizes and in packs containing 25-100 covers. The cover may also be used by airline passengers and others who may be prone to embolism.
