Abstract

A multi-angle hand tool has a handle 10 with a through hole 12 and longitudinal open slot or compartment 11 accommodating an interconnecting element 20, both the handle and element having an embedding portion 16, 213 engaging with an embedding end 32 of a locking device 30, such that in a locked position embedding end 32 engages both embedding portions, and in an unlocked position it only engages the embedding portion 16 of the handle 10, the interconnecting element 20 also pivotally connecting to a connecting device 40. The tool may have a cap 18 which can hold various bits 183 in a socket 17. The lock 30 may have a hole 321 and embedding portion 16 have a protrusion 161 to receive a spring 33 to bias lock 30 into a locked position, and an annular groove 311 and fastener 34 may hold the lock in the through hole 12. An inner surface 14 of the compartment 11 may be split into two portions 141, 142 by positioning portion 13, such that the tool may be used in an L-shape (figure 7), with connecting device 40 abutting the first portion 141, or in a T-shape (figure 8) with connecting device abutting the second portion 142. The connecting device 40 may have a pawl (45 figure 9) interacting with a sheath (46, figure 9) to provide a ratchet.
