Abstract
A water purifier utilises a method of purifying water simply by condensing steam from boiled contaminated water into a separate container - distillation. The water purifier is constructed of three separate pressed metal components and a central filter that fits between the top and bottom sections. Water is poured into the bottom section, the filter and top section are then clipped in place and the water is boiled; the subsequent steam condenses on the lid and runs down the sloped surface into a separate container. Ridges are provided on the underside of the lid that aid the movement of the purified water. An element tray may be provided that fixes beneath the base of the purifier to enable the contaminated water to be boiled without a naked flame. A cool water tray may be fixed to the lid of the purifier to assist in the condensing of the steam.

Description
Water Purifier The water purifier has been designed as a simple and convenient method of purifying water simply by condensing steam from boiled contaminated water into a separate container. The water purifier is constructed of three separate pressed metal components and can be assembled and disassembled within a matter of minutes. In addition there is also a central filter that fits between the top and bottom sections as shown in fig 5.
There are six separate diagrams to highlight the features of the water purifier with figure 1 showing a section through the purifier. This simply details the basic construction and serves to highlight the gap between the lid and front face to allow the condensed steam to escape and the location of the central filter. Figure 2 shows a side view with the only point of note being the steam vent in the top left hand corner. Figure 3 is the rear view of the purifier. Figure 4 details the underside of the lid which contains groves running from the back to the lower front lip to assist the condensed steam to travel from the lid down and out of the purifier. Figure 5 shows a section through of the assembly of all of the component parts of the purifier and how simply they fit together.
As the above description implies contaminated water is poured into the bottom section of the purifier, the filter and top section are ten clipped into place and the water is then boiled and the subsequent steam then condenses on the lid and runs down and out into a separate container.
